This project is particularly dear to my heart because it represents a major milestone in our commitment to infrastructure development. I don’t inspect projects just for the sake of it; every visit is driven by my dedication to ensuring contractors meet the highest standards. We are not compromising on quality because we are building for the future—creating infrastructure that will stand the test of time and serve generations to come. After inspecting the Ramat Park Flyover, I proceeded to other key infrastructure projects to evaluate the level of work being done. My administration remains focused on delivering roads, bridges, and other critical projects that will enhance the lives of our people. Inaugurated 4 Road Over Bridges (ROBs), 4 Underpasses (Subways) and 1 Road Under Bridge (RUB) across Maharashtra, jointly developed by Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MahaRail), the Government of Maharashtra and the Ministry of Railways, along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ji. These 9 infrastructure projects across Nagpur, Sangli, Satara, Nashik, Amravati and other districts have been completed by MahaRail on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality. The vision is to make Maharashtra completely Fatak Mukt (level-crossing-free). Railway crossings will gradually be replaced with safer infrastructure, making travel smoother and roads safer for everyone. These projects will transform Maharashtra and strengthen infrastructure, while creating more employment opportunities for the youth. I strongly believe that about 3 of the proposed constitutional amendments seek to build a better future for Zimbabwe. From my view, some of the amendments will sincerely fix a broken system to create a more stable, unified, and prosperous Zimbabwe for everyone. It’s about moving away from constant political fighting and focusing on what really matters like development, unity, and a government that can deliver on its promises. Our country is stuck in a cycle of endless elections. As soon as one election ends, the next campaign begins. This means politicians are always focused on fighting each other instead of working for us. It creates division and stops long-term projects that would build a better Zimbabwe. The amendment to add 2 more years to the current 5 year term limit gives leaders in parliament and council more time to focus on real issues like fixing our roads, improving our hospitals, and creating jobs. A seven-year cycle means at least five solid years of work without the distraction of politics. It’s a “Sabbath for politics” so we can focus on development. Let's have a sober discussion on the merits and demerits of the term extension proposed amendment. #TogetherWeCan #TikabatanaTinokunda #SingabambanaSiyanqoba

Urban Growth with Vision: Laying the Path for 50 Years Ahead! Chaired a meeting on financial planning of statewide urban infrastructure and civic amenities projects under the Maharashtra Urban Infrastructure Fund (MUINFRA). While reviewing the meeting, expressed that long-term planning is essential for basic services such as sewage, drainage, solid waste management and water supply in our cities. Separate plans must be prepared for each sector, focusing not only on funding but also on resource planning. Also highlighted that projects must not stall due to lack of funds and sufficient arrangements should be made to ensure their completion. Local bodies must receive financial support and the facilities created must be effectively monitored. Urban development is not just about constructing buildings, but a process that drives social and economic progress. For the growth of urban infrastructure, we must adopt a unified framework, long-term planning and proper use of funds. The choices we make today will shape our cities for the next 50 years and every project must be undertaken with that future in mind.
