EXCEPT getting rid of the OIC and C-21 along with the wasteful gun grab and focusing that money into actual crime. Imagine that.....

Weird, feels like all liberals are concerned with is censoring the public while allowing criminals to walk free.

Eleven years in, you've shown us exactly what your version of “building and improving Canada” produces. The result never changes: things get worse, Canadians suffer, and your party gets richer and more out of touch. 🙄

The arsonists are going to fix what they burnt down. Remember that time … Sean lost 1 million immigrants as Immigration Minister?

Clause 63 of Bill C-16 allows judges in certain cases to bypass mandatory minimum sentences, creating a "safety valve" that critics argue undermines Parliament's intent to strictly punish serious crimes. Bill C-75 is still in place. The Liberal Bill C- 75, scraps mandatory sentences for weapons trafficking, discharging a firearm while committing an offence, reckless discharge of a firearm, extortion and robbery with a firearm. because it discriminates, against “racialized people."

Actually, there is no evidence, or experience, or record to support the notion that the "6 new laws and 80 changes to the Criminal Code" will "make communities safer". There's good reason to believe, however, they could help unrepentant criminals be better at being criminals and avoiding getting caught. The whole purpose of the legislation is to persuade regular Conservative voters to vote Liberal. In other words, making communities safer for Liberals.

Well, when current laws aren’t enforced, the Liberal way is more laws, which also won’t be enforced.

Since the Liberals didn’t elaborate, please confirm what the 6 new laws are and list the 80 changes to the Criminal Code. Then go beyond the list. Analyze them together and connect the red string. Trace what each change actually does, what government powers it creates or expands, what rights or protections it affects, and where it increases ministerial, regulatory, police or other state discretion. Identify overlaps, common mechanisms, dependencies and shared policy objectives across the 6 laws and 80 changes. Connect them to other legislation introduced or passed by the Carney government where relevant. Look specifically for intersections involving surveillance, speech, protest, policing, bail, borders, immigration, firearms, financial powers, privacy, due process, Indigenous rights, land/resource authority and government information-gathering. Separate direct textual connections, strong contextual connections, reasonable inferences and speculation. Cite the actual bills, Acts and provisions for every significant connection. Don’t just tell me how the government describes these laws. Show me what the legislative text actually authorizes, how the pieces interact, and what pattern emerges when they’re examined together.

Liberal's unchecked mass immigration of millions and Liberal's soft on crime and soft on criminals policies have caused Canada to become a very unsafe country in a short time. Prior to the last eleven years of Liberals our country was doing quite well.

So will that illegal immigrant terrorist be getting deported or will be out on a bail?

What's the point of creating new laws when you're too feckless to enforce the laws you already have? Besides more government control, of course. It's been 11 years. Do your damn jobs already, you lazy bums

The Liberal Party claims “6 new laws” for these reforms. Their own justice minister said “three bills” in July and Justice Canada said “four” in June. One likely candidate for the count, Bailey’s Law, is a Conservative MP’s private member’s bill. The “80 changes to the Criminal Code” figure is accurate on its own. Read our thread to learn the facts 🧵

If it’s all so great, why have 11 years of Liberal rule failed to keep crime in check?

It only took them 10 years in power and 6 years after cars were being stolen left, right, and center in broad daylight. Most incompetent government by miles
