60” blocks of corn 60” gaps I believe this will outyield solid corn due to plant phenotyping coupled with amplified night time cooling. This IMO is useful for continuous corn, in season manure applications and potential grazing after harvest.

Here’s some fun math for you: if it cost $1300/acre to put this corn crop in, and I want a minimum 10% return, I need $1430/acre in revenue. If I sell my corn at $4.50, I need 317 bu/acre corn yield. If my neighbor sold at $6.50, they need 220 bushel corn. My APH happens to be 222. This is why target margin and knowing your cost of production matters. If you don’t know your numbers this well for 2024, please reach out to me.
