I worked at Burger King. It was a great experience, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Since then I have gone on to manage a team of Engineers. Making many times more than $60k.

I’m still shook that people can survive on less than $100k a year. Mortgage alone is $30k, cars another $20k. Then add two or more kids to that and you can’t live comfortably for any less without feeling the pressures of life. Doable, but stressfully.
