She blends scoring ability, playmaking, and defensive versatility, allowing her to excel in multiple roles. At 5’11”, her size and athleticism enable her to defend multiple positions while maintaining the skills to lead an offense. This versatility aligns with the trend toward positionless basketball, where players are valued for their ability to contribute in various facets of the game. Offensive Impact 1.Scoring Threat: Houston’s 19 points per game underscore her ability to create offense, particularly through attacking the rim. Her strength and finishing ability make her a constant threat in transition and half-court sets. 2.Playmaking: Averaging 5 assists per game, Houston’s ability to create for her teammates is a testament to her court vision and high basketball IQ. Her ability to score and facilitate makes her a dual offensive threat. Defensive Excellence Houston’s ability to guard positions 1 through 4 makes her a highly valuable defensive asset. Physicality and Competitiveness Houston’s physicality and relentless competitiveness set her apart. Her aggressive play style allows her to dominate in rebounding, defend multiple positions, and attack the basket with force. These traits are often what separate good players from great ones, and Houston’s combination of size, skill, and drive gives her a competitive edge in every matchup. Potential and Projection Despite her #85 ranking, Houston is considered a top 50 talent nationally. Her ranking is likely impacted by missing the AAU season due to off-season surgery, suggesting that her true potential is undervalued. As she returns to full health, Houston is expected to rise in national rankings and showcase her top-tier talent. Team Success Houston’s influence on her team is undeniable, with a 43-5 record in 5A basketball over the last two seasons. Her ability to lead and impact games in a variety of ways has directly contributed to her team’s success, reinforcing her status as a winner and a high-level performer. Future Projection •College Impact: Houston projects as an immediate impact player at Iowa, offering versatility that allows her to contribute in numerous ways. Her ability to score, rebound, assist, and defend makes her a perfect fit for the Hawkeyes, and her defensive prowess will be particularly valuable in Big Ten play.

As the Connecticut Huskies attempt to win another national championship tonight against Michigan, Alabama Men’s Basketball fans still hear the echos of two years ago when the Crimson Tide finally crashed college basketball’s biggest event for the first time on April 6, 2024. Inside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., the Crimson Tide’s breakthrough season reached its crescendo in its first Final Four appearance against the Huskies. As a No. 4 seed coming out of the West Region, the magical run ended with an 86-72 loss, but not before the Crimson Tide proved it belonged on the grandest stage. Mark Sears led the way with 24 points, five rebounds and three assists, continuing his March brilliance. Grant Nelson delivered a monster effort with 19 points and a season-best 15 rebounds for a double-double, while Aaron Estrada added 13 points as Alabama fought to keep within striking distance deep into the second half. Stephon Castle scored 21 points, Donovan Clingan had 18 and Tristen Newton controlled the game with 12 points and nine assists. When Alabama clawed back to tie it in the second half, UConn answered with a decisive run. “We got this program to its first Final Four, and I’m unbelievably proud of these guys,” Alabama head coach Nate Oats said. “We just went up against the best team in the country and they showed it.” Two years later, as Connecticut chases another title, that Saturday night in Glendale stands as more than a final score in Alabama history. It redefined the ceiling of a program and created an expectation to get back.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUTONOMY, I HAVE AN AGENDA....... So, don't waste your time on my TL asking "What are you up to".....I am up to something.. I HAVE AN AGENDA! Why is Gov Seyi Makinde against Local Govt Autonomy and why are many of the Governors against LGA autonomy? MONEY..... If a State like Oyo State that has 33 LGAs have Governor Seyi Makinde like several States saying they are against LGAs autonomy, the question is, where is the money meant for LGAs in 7 years that he's been governing? Look at it this way and use it to COOK against all the States EXCEPT LAGOS where the LGAs are having their funds to do their things. Afijio LGA in Oyo State since 2019 has gotten over N20 billion.... Ibadan North in 7 years has more than N25 billion Ibadan South West has more than N25 billion... Oyo State in 7 years has gotten N778.8 Billion. Which means IF State Governors allow funds for LGAs to work for LGAs under them, they will not have much trouble because they can concentrate with weightier matters at the State level with State FAAC.... But. why are they not allowing LGA FAAC to be used in each LGA? Pick any LGA in Oyo State and convince yourself that that particular LGA has enjoyed anything close to N20 billion allocation in 7 years be it in Road infrastructures, Primary Schools, Primary Health Care Centres, Parks, gardens, Street lights etc..... THAT IS THE AGENDA. If 33 LGAs have average of N24 billion in 7 years, that will be equal to N792 billion so far FOR LGAs in one State. Ok, divide it into two, take one part and USE one part for the LGAs, you will see miracle PHCs, Roads, Gardens and Parks, Recreation Centres, Good primary and Secondary Schools...... THINK: One LGA = 12 Wards....N25 billion, spread it across 12 wards and tell me you will not see Dubai in some of those Wards. But NO, LGA funds in the hands of State Governors is like fresh manna from heaven on Saturday morning. You see this AGENDA that you said I am cooking, please help me cook it for or against other Governors irrespective of their Political parties! WHERE ARE THE BILLIONS? #Project774
