700000km with Original battery still driving and only 10% degradation! We couldn’t find a defective CATL battery, so we had to visit China to find one. Still hunting!!! 😎🔋🇨🇳

I will probaly buy the Tesla Model Y Standard with CATL LFP battery. Good quality and if it ever goes bad you just swap the entire battery for not that much money

Impressive! So you guys never had an LFP Tesla in for a battery repair? I saw some folks in UK Tesla Owners group reporting having had their pack replaced on a 2021 SR+. But I do really wonder how long can one of those keep working for

SR+ is NCA small pack

@mcsmik AFAIK it was NCA till about just before September 2021, when they swapped to LFP with the same size ~55kWh. Then in November they filled in entire battery space with LFP and that made 60kWh.

Made in China SR+ in UK had the LFP battery from the start. Which was end of November 2020 onwards with the slight interior facelift. One of my friends got a March 21 registered one and it’s LFP with a recommended 100% daily charge etc. so you’re correct about months - just not the year 😂

I am confused how are people getting only 10% degradation? When I look at reasonably used (lets say 50-100k km), they are often already below 95%. Worse ones around 200k already below 90%

Epic!

Rich Rebuilds? 😳 Whoa!

Meanwhile @Tesla owners believe they're driving the best EVs in the world 😂

Pues tuve una moto con baterías cayó hace 15 años y fueron una gran M….menos mal q han evolucionado

aber die laden doch so langsam… könnte einer der Gründe für die Haltbarkeit sein

LPF, NMC or both?

That's genuinely wild for a pack with that much mileage, degradation usually hits way harder by now.
