The much-hyped mysterious impact of United Airlines aircraft during flight UA1093 last week was due to a weather balloon, not from space debris or a high-flying bird! CEO of the weather prediction company: “We learned about UA1093 and the potential that it was related to one of our balloons at 11 pm PT on Sunday and immediately looked into it. At 6 am PT, we sent our preliminary investigation to both NTSB and FAA and are working with both of them to investigate further.” The United Airlines flight from Denver to Los Angeles was forced to divert to Salt Lake City on October 16, 2025, after a cockpit windshield cracked midair due to the impact while cruising at 36,000 feet, injuring one of the pilots. #aircraft #aviation
