Used to drive through High Island driving back from Beaumont to Galveston (home base) during Rita. The PD chief use to have a roadblock and was super rude to all of the adjusters driving through.

With sustained winds of 175 MPH and a night-shattering pressure of 900 MBAR, she became the 2ND most powerful Hurricane in American History.
