A man won £12,500 at William Hill. When he went to collect the rest of his cash, staff pressed the panic button and called the police on him twice. – In August 2023, Michael placed three bets totalling £2,400 in cash at a William Hill shop in Harrogate. The bets were on two tennis matches and one football game. – All three came in. His total return was approximately £12,500. – He first went to the Starbeck branch. Staff only had £5,500 in the till, so they paid him that amount. Michael even left a £110 tip for the staff. – The next day he went to the Harrogate Spa branch to collect the remaining £6,500+. – Within roughly one minute of asking for his money, a staff member pressed the emergency panic button and called the police. – Officers arrived. One of them told Michael on camera: “He hasn’t got the cash to pay you out.” – Staff tried to force him to accept a bank transfer and hand over personal details. Michael refused, insisting that because he paid in cash he was entitled to be paid in cash. – Police were called a second time during the dispute. Michael filmed both encounters. – He was left with two unpaid betting slips still showing “Good luck!” printed by William Hill. He won the money fair and square with cash bets. The bookmaker’s response was to treat him like a criminal and call the police for trying to collect what he was owed.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh was getting into his car to leave when a poor, hungry boy approached him. Riteish was in a hurry and did not have any cash with him to give the boy. So, Riteish asked a paparazzi standing nearby to give the boy ₹100 from his own pocket. One of the paparazzi gave the boy ₹100. Riteish then took a photo of the paparazzi, saying that he would send him the money later through an online payment. The paparazzi refused, but Riteish still insisted that he would return the money and took his photo on his phone so that he could send him the money later. Riteish Deshmukh really is a big-hearted person who is always willing to help others. He could have simply told the hungry boy that he had no cash and couldn't help him, but instead, he made sure the boy received ₹100 through the paparazzi. There are very few good-hearted people like Riteish Deshmukh in Bollywood.

Mavo went live on IG. Money Constant' was originally to be the lead single on my new project, 'Business'. Wizkid and DJ Tunize contacted me and expressed interest in collaborating. When I previewed 'Money Constant' for him, he paid me he said he love the song and paid Me a $100k. I almost declined the offer because I knew the song had the potential to be a major hit. Now, after all the support I provided to Wizkid, I reached out to him and asked him for a Collab on my project. He declined. He stated that we had already recorded a song together and that we should allow some time to pass before collaborating again. I never expected Wizkid to do this, because I no I have helped him after I gave him a hit song 'Money Constant.

today would have been Oliver Tree birthday . he brought me so much joy just to know a creator that loved and breathed his art 1000% every time I see him I felt like I wasn’t doing enough .. but it wasn’t just the work as a musician it was life . he lived it every moment to the fullest - he gave everything in his bones to making the world a better place with his music . a lot of people might have just been turned on to him that wasn’t familiar . and he would be so happy to see the impact he had .. at a great time with everyone looksmaxing, faking their way to the algorithm and making music for the money - he tried to steer humanity into a greater place where being the best version yourself is the greatest gift you can give... this is one of the demos we had - in retrospect it makes me cry to listen back to.. what a big heart this man had

A man finished a $57 meal at an airport restaurant and tried to walk out without paying. He claimed a friend nearby would cover the bill, but the friend was nowhere to be found. Staff called officers after he refused to pay or provide ID/collateral. The man argued loudly, insisted the staff had agreed to his story beforehand, demanded officers go find his friend, and repeatedly talked over them while denying he was trying to dine and dash. Officers gave him multiple chances to settle up. When he kept trying to leave and refused to cooperate, he was detained and arrested for theft. The restaurant chose to press charges. Outcome: He was taken into custody after the failed attempt.

NEW: ICE official debunks the media narrative being spun surrounding the enforcement operation involving a 5-year-old boy that's dominating headlines: "When officers approached Conejo Arias, he and his child were in a vehicle. Arias fled from law enforcement on foot, abandoning his child in the middle of winter in a vehicle. One of our officers stayed behind with that child while other officers apprehended his father." "After conducting the arrest, my officers stayed with the child. They cared for him, took him to get something to eat from a drive-through restaurant, and spent hours ensuring he was taken care of. Again, my officers did that, not his father." "My officers did everything they could to reunite him with his family. Tragically, when we approached the door of his residence, the people inside refused to take him in and open the door. Let me say it again: they saw the young boy, and they refused to open the door and take him back."

His identity thief made one huge mistake: trying to use his information while he was close enough to catch him. A Skokie man had spent months dealing with fraudulent credit applications and even an unauthorized Land Rover loan when his phone suddenly alerted him that someone was attempting a SIM swap. Customer service told him the request was happening at a nearby T-Mobile. He drove straight there. Standing at the counter was a man he says he recognized from an earlier Lyft account mix-up that had exposed the alleged thief’s photo. Police arrived and found the victim’s actual ID, credit cards and personal information in the suspect’s possession. And somehow, it got even wilder. While officers were still investigating, the suspect suddenly bolted through the mall. Officers chased him down and took him into custody. The case allegations included identity theft, credit-card-related fraud, concealing identity, fleeing and resisting arrest. Months of tracking fraudulent accounts… and one SIM-swap alert reportedly led him straight to the man he believed was behind it.

This went on for about a month because I kept telling him, ‘Don’t worry about it. I’ve got the bills.’ I was covering everything while he stayed home. Eventually, I had to tell him, ‘Okay, look, it’s been a while. We need to figure something out. You need to get a job.’ I even gave him some money and told him to go out, get a drink, and clear his head. The very next day, he went out and cheated on me with a stripper! with the money I had given him. I was supporting him, taking care of the bills, and trying to help him get back on his feet, only to be betrayed in the worst way.”

She said she would make sure he loses everything he worked for, take his retirement money, and even have him arrested right in front of their children just to break him. All of this came with one condition. Pay up, or she goes through with it. This is what people don’t talk about enough. A woman caught cheating can become very dangerous.
