every school needs a small garden so the kids can learn to grow food, spend time outside & donate the food to local pantries.

The tree was coming down anyway. Fuss at the school for that decision. Meanwhile I’ll marvel at his hard work and charitable heart

My kid's school has a hands on gardening class. They sell the flowers and veggies they grow to us townies at the end of the year.

Wait a minute. This was done in deep Dixie, by white and black folk working together to create something beautiful? I thought this didn’t happen in today’s segregation mentality world. Having lived in Louisiana, I can tell you this is the norm, and I am grateful for the experiences I had there.

🚨 VP JD Vance just delivered a BEAUTIFUL tribute to his late grandfather at the very steel plant where he worked for DECADES "Papaw was a welder in this place for 40 years. And today, his grandson stands here as the Vice President of these United States. It's an amazing thing." 🇺🇸 "He was not an educated man by any means, but he was a brilliant one. He was a complicated man, a man of faith who never went to church. He was an alcoholic since middle school, but he quit cold turkey as a grandfather." "His American dream was well fed kids, a car engine to tinker with. He loved to build out cars. A lukewarm cup of coffee, never cold, never hot. And of course, a doughnut from either Central Pastry or Milton's Donuts." "He thought way too many politicians were just plain old corrupt. And he was right. All he asked for from his political leaders was very simple: He asked that his taxes be reasonable. He asked that his community be safe. He asked that our politicians ensure that there were good jobs for men and women who were willing to work for them." "And he asked that America never be asked to be the policeman of the world. He was my grandfather. I called him Papaw."

This hardworking college student is well-known at his local Burger King for his strong work ethic and dedication. On the night of his high school graduation, instead of celebrating, he stopped by the restaurant for a late meal. He saw his coworkers struggling during a busy rush and immediately jumped in to help—still wearing his graduation gown and cap. A customer who witnessed the moment was so inspired by his humility that she recorded it and later launched a crowdfunding campaign. The story went viral, raising over $200,000 to support his future.

A student at Crawfordville Elementary came home after being kicked in the face by a Caucasian classmate. A teacher saw it and did not report it. His parent called and went to the school. The principal stayed in a meeting and would not come out. Staff said there was no paperwork to file and that recording was not allowed.

🚨WOW: A man was ordered to take down his small flag by the council for fear it may upset foreigners. His response? He went and brought a 100 foot flag and draped the whole building with it. This is the ultimate FAFO.

I’m positive that Austin Metcalf was at fault. It’s not like this race has a history and documented pattern of violence and low impulse control. Free Karmelo. All he did was stab a guy in the chest and murder him for being asked to return to his assigned tent.

Jason Kuhlman, the principal at the Minnesota elementary school 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos attended before he and his father were detained by federal agents earlier this month, says that he and the school nurse had to take two children to the federal building in Minneapolis where their mom was being held after she was detained by immigration enforcement authorities at a court-appointed check-in. Kuhlman told CBS News' Lilia Luciano that the boys' mom called the school and asked for them to bring her sons to the detention center so that they could be together. "I've lost kids to cancer. I've lost kids to violence. I've lost parents. To sit there and bring children down to a detention center, knowing that they might not ever come back to my school again because they could be deported, does not sit well," the principal said.

When asked how many of the 600 are out on bail the cop says that 500 should not be out in the community. What do you think he means by that? Pretty obvious he has been told by the powers above to keep his mouth shut and that was his way of circumventing it.

3 Doors Down lead singer Brad Arnold has sadly passed away at the age of 47 after a battle with kidney cancer. "With his beloved wife Jennifer and his family by his side, [Brad] passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in his sleep after his courageous battle with cancer," 3 Doors Down said in a statement. "Brad's songwriting became a cultural touchstone for a generation, producing some of the most enduring hits of the 2000s, including the band's breakout hit, "Kryptonite," which he wrote in his math class when he was just 15 years old." "His music reverberated far beyond the stage, creating moments of connection, joy, faith, and shared experiences that will live on long after the stages he performed on." "Above all, he was a devoted husband to Jennifer, and his kindness, humor, and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Those closest to him will remember not only his talent, but his warmth, humility, faith, and deep love for his family and friends." Back in May, Arnold released a video, revealing that he found out he had cancer. Rest in peace, Brad.
