I took the smarter context approach with Wingman, and it’s fairly helpful for some things like simple chat. But I feel like for Agentic flows, you’re better off reading in files. I used an AST to create a graph of codebase symbols You can keep context lighter than a whole file but came with tons of overhead of managing the graph and embeddings - when in the end I may want more related code around certain symbols

Is there a way we can downgrade a version? Right now windsurf doesnt understand my codebase.

This is great. So many questions. Is there a doc with tips on how to clear or rest context effectively? New chat I assume but to which degree? Can we get reset commands or something. Often time I switch to totally different topic and history drags along

I love using Windsurf; it's my go-to IDE for most of my development work. However, I wish there was a way to load only the chat/past conversation related to the currently opened directory, rather than having to sift through all past conversations-something like what Cursor offers

Can your chatbox accept GIFs? I need to record some CSS animations and ask the large - language model to help me reproduce them. However, all the current AI editors on the market can't effectively achieve the effects in GIFs.
