Our governments flung the doors open, flooded the country, and now we’re supposed to smile while people who arrived yesterday lecture us about “the island we are becoming” and what to leave for their children’s children. Ireland was never a multicultural experiment. It was a nation. This land will never be inherited by Africa no matter how many times they say it with a straight face and a pink blazer.
