A bird gets hit by a wind turbine. A 2012 study found that wind projects kill 0.269 birds per gigawatt-hour of electricity produced, compared to 5.18 birds killed per gigawatt-hour of electricity from fossil fuel projects/plants.

Took a trip out to Eastern Colorado yesterday. Drove around a huge wind farm. I was told by our highly environmentalist President Trump, the wind energy is terrible, because it kills birds. Looked around under multiple turbines. No dead birds. Lots of live birds, though.

This man lives in a village, and near his house he has a dairy farm where he keeps milk-producing animals. He installed two very large exhaust fans in the farm for proper air ventilation and to remove the heat. Because of this, the electricity bill for both his house and the dairy farm was very high every year, running into lakhs of rupees. A large portion of his income was being spent on electricity bills. One day, the man noticed that a very strong stream of air was coming out of the exhaust fans. Since both exhaust fans run all day, he realized he could use this airflow to generate electricity. He then installed two large wind turbines in front of the exhaust fans. The wind turbines spin at high speed all day using the strong air coming from the exhaust fans and generate about 30 units of electricity every day, around 900 units per month, and nearly 11,000 units per year. He uses this electricity to power his house, saving around ₹80,000 every year. Now he has to pay a much lower electricity bill. With his smart thinking, this man turned the waste air coming out of the two large exhaust fans into useful electricity by using two wind turbines, giving himself a significant financial benefit.

Forward area ops. The Pa32-300 burns around 65 litres of avgas per hour, a 30 litre jerrycan gives you 30mins of flight time which can be a lifeline when operating from airports like Lodwar that don’t have fuel

The state of Texas has now halted up to 1,800 planned data center projects. The state's power grid cannot keep up with the enormous electricity demand these facilities require to run AI systems. The AI boom has just hit a physical wall that money alone cannot solve.

If you're gonna hit a baseball at 114 miles per hour, you've got to have some power👀 Full speed throw at 120 FPS and then slowed down to 25% at 30 FPS by Ethan Murdoch of Marshall Baseball #WeAreMarshall

Meet the nature kingdom's worst roommate: The African Pygmy Falcon. 😳🦅 Instead of building nests, this bird prefers to aggressively take living space away from other birds. It looks like a cute cotton ball, but it’s a savage hunter found in Southeastern Africa that takes what it wants.

Today, Mark flew his jet from Muskoka to Ottawa. This is the same Liberal government that said a ten-hour family road trip would "make the planet burn". Below, I've included a summary of CO2 emissions from Mark's flight, compared to a ten-hour family road trip. I guess the Liberals are happy to let the planet burn!
