One more ATM has been closed permanently. 23 years old Amit Kumar Yadav of Etawah in UP ended his life because of continuous harassment and torture by his wife Rinki, Mother In Law Vimla Devi, Sister In Law Neha and Brother In Law Vikas. Amit was having a four months old son and was married to Rinki just 18 months ago. Amit alleged that his wife Rinki was indulged in an illicit relationship with one of her maternal uncle. Amit demanded justice in his four page suicide note and also asked a memorial to be built in his name after his death. May his soul rest in peace. God knows how many more #AtulSubhash will have to die to wake up our Government and Judiciary.

We are all aware of the current state of young drivers in India, and the growing obsession with high-powered SUVs has only worsened the situation. This incident is yet another disturbing reflection of the toxic mindset developing among some youth one driven by recklessness, arrogance, and a complete disregard for human life. Even more troubling is how this act exposes the alarming failure of our legal and enforcement systems. There is no visible fear of the law. No respect for accountability. The more one watches this video, the deeper the outrage and helplessness grow. It doesn’t just provoke anger it instills disgust. This was not a mere accident it was a deliberate, dangerous act that could have easily resulted in multiple deaths. Such behavior must be treated as an attempt to murder, and nothing less. The driver must face the strictest punishment under the law. His vehicle should be permanently seized, and he must be imprisoned for life. Let this not be just another headline. Let this be a precedent. An example to show that such atrocities will not be tolerated in a civil society.
