ASABA, DELTA: An issue between Aye (NBM) and Vikings (DNKI) happened last month during a Masquerade festival at Umudaike/Ugbomenta quarters in Asaba. The festival is mainly for indigenes, but some non-indigenes are allowed to watch. Naija Confra didn’t report it then, thinking it was settled—but tension is still rising. An Aye (NBM) cultist named Noble, who isn’t from the community, was chased by a masquerade but refused to run. He believed he was a cultist/strongman and shouldn’t run. What he didn’t know was that in that community, masquerades don’t care about cultism. A Vikings (DNKI) cultist, Dante, warned him to run before he got hurt or k!lled. Noble stayed stubborn, backed by his fellow Aye cultists, until another Viking, stepped in, pushed and sl@pped him—then Noble ran. Later, another Aye cultist, Kanayo, confronted Dante on why his member pushed and sl@pped Noble. He said, “Don’t you know he’s an Aye?” Dante replied, “If he’s Aye, so what?” Not wanting to look weak, Kanayo echoed “Aye Ax€men!” and rushed at Dante—but Dante was ready and beat him mercilessly. While beating him, Dante also echoed “Aromate,” and Vikings and some Eiye members present, told everyone not to interfere. After the fight, Aye (NBM) regrouped and came back armed, looking for Vikings (DNKI) cultists (as seen in this video). In the video, two Aye (NBM) cultists can be seen—Governor (in black with a green bag, holding a gun) and Kanayo, the one who got beaten mercilessly by Dante. The issue remains unresolved, and tensions may rise further. Stay safe, Reject Cultism.
