The more I hear, the more it mirrors the attitude of my Turkish Muslim gang rapist in Australia. I wasn't 5. He was my manager. He'd chastised me for "putting myself in danger" by catching public transport home. So I accepted a lift. A terrible mistake.

if we go back to the 1940's - any girl sexually abused by someone that she already knew - was judged to be "morally defective" and locked up in a mental institution - not to be let out again until the 1980's..
Children do all sorts of things that are dangerous for them It is an adults DUTY to intervene to protect them from their own selves AND others It's the big diff between adults & kids As an adult you can do things and nobody will step in Not so with kids It's NOT your fault

I was asked by a detective from the CSE team whether I had “consented” to sexual activity. A child cannot consent A child cannot be a prostitute A child cannot be ‘asking for it’ I was a child. I was a VICTIM. But it’s easier to blame little girls than prosecute their rapists.
