We are taking up several initiatives to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading destination not only for tourism, but also for film tourism, culture, performing arts and culinary experiences. Andhra Pradesh offers a diverse range of breathtaking locations that are ideal for film shootings. From scenic landscapes and pristine beaches to historic monuments, spiritual destinations and vibrant cultural spaces, our state has immense potential to become a preferred destination for filmmakers from across India and around the world. We are working towards further strengthening Film Tourism in Andhra Pradesh and creating a film-friendly ecosystem. Our rich cultural heritage is another great strength. Kuchipudi, one of India’s renowned classical dance forms, is the pride of Andhra Pradesh. Like Kathak, Odissi and Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi has earned global recognition for its unique traditions, grace and storytelling. We are committed to promoting Kuchipudi on a much larger platform and taking this magnificent art form to audiences across the world. Another important aspect we wish to showcase is ‘Andhra Ruchulu’ – the authentic flavours of Andhra cuisine. Our food reflects the rich culture, traditions and diversity of the state. Through the promotion of culinary tourism, we aim to introduce the distinctive tastes of Andhra Pradesh to visitors from India and across the globe, while creating opportunities for culinary institutions and local food traditions to flourish. Film Tourism, Kuchipudi and Andhra Ruchulu represent the creative and cultural identity of our state. Our vision is to make Andhra Pradesh a global destination where tourism, cinema, culture, art and cuisine come together to offer unique experiences to visitors. IANS

In South Africa, supporting locally produced products is more than just a choice , it's a commitment to economic growth and community resilience. During the G20 social summit we met a few entrepreneurs who align with our vision of an inclusive economy. By purchasing goods made by local artisans and businesses, we foster job creation and keep money circulating within our communities. This collective effort not only strengthens our economy but also celebrates the unique craftsmanship and cultural heritage of our nation 🇿🇦

India and the EU, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa have inked the 'Mother of all Trade Deals'. The #IndiaEUTradeDeal is a strategic breakthrough in our global trade engagement, unlocking vast opportunities in the $20 trillion EU market for 1.4 billion people. It is a deal that gives unprecedented market access for over 99% of our exports by value, providing a massive impetus to our labour-intensive sectors and bolstering 'Make In India.' This partnership forged between the 4th and 2nd-largest economies, accounting for one-third of global trade, will create unprecedented trade and investment opportunities benefiting businesses, MSMEs, women, youth, artisans, workers, students, skilled professionals, fisherfolk, farmers, and exporters, among others. With care being taken to shield sensitive sectors, rural livelihoods have also been secured while opening up potential to scale in the high-value EU market. A big win has been secured in the services sector with a future-ready mobility framework that will help expand global opportunities for our skilled Indian professionals. This deal is a gateway to the future, enabling India to create high-value jobs, drive innovation, and firmly cement its position as a globally competitive hub for talent and sustainable economic growth.

Introducing a new online marketplace connecting global artisans and craftspeople with customers seeking unique, handmade products. We are building a marketplace of truly handcrafted products that celebrates and promotes makers who take their time and skill to make beautiful products. If it not truly handcrafted, then it is not a good fit. We want shoppers to have the assurance that what they find on our platform took thoughtful dedication from our artisans. The platform is currently open to US makers and we ship in the US for now. We also understand that there are also talented artisans in Africa, that is why we have programs to ship and warehouse for a select number of creatives from the continent. If you know a maker in USA or Africa who may be a good fit for our platform please do recommend us.

Honouring the spirit of Swadeshi Craftsmanship of the Daughters of West Bengal. I am delighted to share that the "Birbhum Khadi Dal" has achieved a remarkable feat by crafting a massive National Flag, measuring an impressive 30 feet by 20 feet. This magnificent flag, created entirely from pure Khadi, stands as a testament to the dedication and skill of 20 Women Weavers who worked tirelessly for an entire month to complete this masterpiece. This symbol of our pride was handed over to the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), and has been hoisted at the Maithon Dam to mark their Foundation Day, serving as a beacon of inspiration for all who visit. I commend the Women Weavers for their perseverance and their contribution to the 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives. I have also encouraged our District Magistrates, Sub-Divisional Officers and BDOs across all districts to procure our National Flags from such talented artisans to promote our local heritage. Let us continue to support our grassroots weavers and carry our Tiranga with pride.

We remain committed to expanding access to electricity and improving the quality of life of our people across Ogun State. Through our rural and urban electrification interventions, we have facilitated and distributed thousands of transformers to communities, helping to strengthen electricity infrastructure and bring power closer to homes and businesses. We recognise that access to electricity is critical to development. It supports artisans and small businesses, improves security, stimulates local economies and creates opportunities for our people, particularly in rural and underserved communities. As we continue to complement these interventions with roads and other critical infrastructure, our focus remains clear: to take meaningful development to the grassroots and ensure that no community is left behind. Together, we are powering communities, empowering lives and moving Ogun State forward.

Happy New Year, Ghanafo! As we enter 2026, I thank every Ghanaian for the resilience and unity that carried us through a challenging 2025. Your support for the tough but necessary reforms is helping us reset our economy for growth, jobs, and lasting transformation. In the year ahead, let us put our shoulders to the wheel to ensure these reforms continue to deliver more opportunities for households, businesses, and our youth. I pay special tribute to all stakeholders across the country, especially our market women and men, from Makola to Market Circle, and the vibrant traders of Kotokoraba Market in Cape Coast! May 2026 bring renewed hope and shared prosperity.

Today, the Logo Hayk Resort has been officially inaugurated, seamlessly embracing the natural beauty of Wollo with modern, world-class infrastructure. Beyond its physical presence, the resort is designed as a catalyst for both local and national economic transformation. As the second Dine project in the Amhara region, following Gorgora, it will generate direct and indirect employment, stimulate value chains across agriculture, transport, hospitality, and services, and create new market opportunities for local producers, artisans, and entrepreneurs. In doing so, Logo Hayk Resort strengthens tourism-led growth while anchoring sustainable livelihoods for surrounding communities. Guided by the spirit of Medemer, this initiative brings government and the private sector to the same table, translating policy into action and investment into tangible impact. By developing the resort through a collaborative model, we have laid a durable foundation for public-private partnership, policy continuity, and long-term growth. Above all, Logo Hayk Resort stands as an open invitation for the kind-hearted people of Wollo to share their heritage, culture, values, and hospitality with the world.

Whether it is Holi or Diwali people now look for local products to celebrate occasions. This Diwali let's add more happiness into the lives of our sisters and brothers by using their products. You can also take a selfie with the local product and upload it to the Namo App. Some of them will be shared by Modi Ji himself.

Today, I held a meeting with our foreign affairs team regarding our special foreign policy opportunities. These opportunities are available to our state thanks to many Ukrainians and millions of citizens from other countries who believe in Ukraine and support us. These opportunities allow us to keep Ukraine in the global spotlight, increase support for our state and our people, and effectively advocate for Ukrainian needs. The primary need is to end the war as quickly and justly as possible. Ukrainians have endured and achieved so much in this war because we have united not only within our state but also kept the world united for the right cause – for Ukraine and for everything that makes our world humane and capable of defeating evil. Our unity must continue to be preserved – everyone here in Ukraine, everyone in Europe, and the world who values Ukraine and life. This August, we are preparing news about greater consolidation of our people and everyone worldwide who helps us.

Talks with the President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa أحمد الشرع. We agreed to work together to bring greater security and more opportunities for development to our societies. We discussed the situation in the region and the prospects for changing it for the better. We also went over the circumstances of Russia’s war against Ukraine – I am grateful for the support. There is strong interest in exchanging military and security experience. I appreciate the words of respect for our people. We also touched on Ukraine’s role as a reliable supplier of food products and discussed joint opportunities to strengthen food security across the region. We understand very well the energy and infrastructure challenges Syria is currently facing. We are ready to work together to expand opportunities for both our countries and their people.
