POV. You’re my coffee table, I just got home from the gym, it’s a hot sunny day so I come outside, I put my coffee down on you while I grab a chair. It burns, but it’s your job. I kick off my Nikes to release my sweaty soles, I lay back and place my feet up on you, you are instantly hit with an aroma so strong that you feel it in the back of your throat. Not only can you now taste them, but you can also feel how warm and moist they are. What a lucky coffee table you are, doing your job so well. But it doesn’t just end there. I’ve also forgotten to grab an ashtray and I don’t want to ash on my decking. So it looks like you’re now my personal ashtray. It feels so good to have a purpose doesn’t it?

STOP KILLING YOUR GEARBOX 😡😡😡🤬 (Correct sequence to park an automatic car ) You’ve been parking your automatic car the wrong way for years, and it is slowly destroying your transmission. Most people just pull into a spot, slam the gear into P (Park), and then pull the handbrake. If you’re doing this, you are literally asking your gearbox to hold the entire weight of your car. Here is the Right way to do it in 5 steps: 1. Come to a full stop with your foot on the brake. 2. Shift the gear to N (Neutral). 3. Pull your Handbrake (or engage the electronic parking brake) with your foot still on the foot brake 4. Engage Parking Gear 5. Remove Your Foot from the Brakes. Why should you do this? Inside your transmission, there’s a tiny metal pin called a Parking Pawl. When you put the car in Park (P) without using the handbrake first, that tiny pin is the only thing stopping your car from rolling away. If you are parked on a hill or a slope, the stress on that pin is massive. Have you ever noticed that loud, painful CLUNK sound when you try to shift out of Park on a hill or slope? That’s the sound of your transmission screaming. You are literally forcing the gears to grind against that pinned-up weight. Over time, you’re rounding off the edges of that metal pin or, worse, snapping it. The handbrake was designed to hold the weight of the car onto the chassis frame. The transmission was designed to shift gears. Stop making the gearbox do the heavy lifting. Except of course you want to replace it regularly (that's not cheap). You're welcome 🤝🏾 .

Samsung India, this isn’t how you treat your flagship customers. An S24 Ultra user installs the first One UI 8.5 beta… and suddenly a white dot appears on the display. He contacts support, they assume it’s a green/pink line issue and mention replacement (valid up to S23 series). But this case? Completely different. He goes to the service center… and gets blamed instead. A minor dent from one year ago is now suddenly the cause? So what are we saying here, the customer is lying?🤔 Yes, beta comes with risk. Users understand that. But these are also the same users helping you test, improve, and refine your software. This kind of handling? Not acceptable. Samsung India management needs to look into this and ensure proper assistance is provided, along with better guidance on how customer service should respond. Flagship users deserve better support not assumptions.

This local from Corpus Christi beach tells everyone to please not feed the seagulls. She says that’s a message from all the locals there. However, a great many of the locals chimed in and said go ahead and feed them. Live your best life, and that many of them take their own kind of food to feed the seagulls. One person said, be that person! Experience ljoy and happiness, feed the birds. ❤️ We used to go to West Beach in Galveston where you can drive on the beach. We would load up some crumbs and sit on the back of the tailgate and drive and feed the seagulls with them following us. The kids always loved it. Life is short. Find your beauty where you can. 💯 What do you think? Are you with this local and think that people shouldn’t be feeding the seagulls? Or are you with the other locals who said go for it, live your best life?

We’re really pleased to say that we’ve worked with the club and we are able to ask fans to bring their own flags to future games. The club have already asked fans to send in their flags for them to lay for you but if you would rather bring your flag to the game then please feel free to do so. Just make sure your flag adheres to their flags and banners policy which you can see below. It would be amazing to create a sea of flags that we usually only ever see at away days. Also if you weren’t able to send your flag but you’d like to for Everton then also dm us and we can send you the clubs form.

Your baby needs a little tummy time daily. Yesterday I wrote about crawling, noting that with sleep recommendations now (wisely) advising infants sleep only on their backs, babies are spending less and less time in a downward facing position - making it all the more important that parents build well supervised tummy time into their daily routines. Tummy time has many benefits. Primary among them, it strengthens the back, neck and arm muscles that help with holding up the head, rolling over, sitting and crawling. It also helps to decrease the incidence of flat spots on the back of your baby’s head. And it can help relieve gas and constipation, just to name a few. You can begin short, supervised periods of tummy time as soon as your child is born. These earliest sessions often begin on mom’s chest - but can be done on other safe surfaces as well. Begin with 2-3 minutes at a time and work your way up. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends increasing the frequency and duration of these sessions to the point your baby spends a total of 20-30 minutes a day by the time your baby is 7 weeks old. Be forewarned that, especially early on, tummy time is a workout (and therefore not always well liked by some children) - but with time and experience will help to develop the muscle strength your newborn lacks.
