A command centre has opened up at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hosptial. This will help monitor the hosptial and pick up anything untoward. Even to pick up ‘bogus’ doctors. This will eventually be rolled out to all 400 facilities in the province costing around R400million. #eNCA

I see a room (approx. 5mx10m), a desk, some chairs, 5 tv screens and let’s say 5 pc’s. Please explain to me how that is R1m? (If it is for one facility). And why the fuck do you need 400?

It’s another opportunity to loot. Is this thing sustainable? R400 million could go a long way in buying equipment for most hospitals and Clinics in Gauteng. This is just a PR stunt to justify looting.

Maybe u should spend that R400mn on building an another hospital to relieve the load from Baragwanath. This is an unnecessary spend. Hospital have capacity to monitor themselves. Provincial executives have a right to visit any hospital anytime they want to monitor the situation. If things aren't working in a hospital, maybe think about firing a comrade CEO if there's one and appont people who actually know what they're doing.

Constructs like this only serve to prove that there is palpable leadership failure at the hospital. The structure is failing to optimally achieve the intended Purppse of the entity. This is clearly obvious.

ANC modus operandi: Destroy everything or allow it to rot and collapse. Then come and pretend to be investigating/ fixing. Rope in your buddies and give them the consultation tenders. Inform less informed voters/public you are fixing things.

Panyaza loves R400million. No need for command centres. Go back to basics. Hand back hospital management to experienced health officials and administrators, and gut unnecessary tenders.

R400 million? Let me guess, they cleared an existing room in the hospital, bought equipment to a cost of about R500,000 and paid someone about R50,000 to install it. That left around R399,450 to be shared between Lootfreely House and comrats who got the tender. How's my maths?

Maybe we first need to know why current security is not working at hospitals in the province? Because this sounds remarkably like a cunning tender + well-paid jobs for pals initiative that is not necessary if others do their jobs correctly. Is there no one in these hospitals who can manage effectively?
