I can’t say for the few states I haven’t visited in over two years, but I doubt there is any other state in this country where you can find something like this. This is the Herwa Electric Vehicle Mega Charging Station, one of three in Borno State. The facility can charge up to 20 vehicles simultaneously, powering the state’s fleet of electric taxis that charge just N100 per passenger to any destination within Maiduguri. What is even more impressive is that all three charging stations are completely off-grid and solar-powered. Governor Babagana Zulum 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

LAX is apparently doing everyone a favor by doubling the fee for all Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, and limos in an attempt to ease traffic into the airport. Officials claim the rate increase will not be passed on to the drivers or consumers. Meaning the officials have never taken an economics class and/ or believe you are stupid.

Was sad to see how many ppl in the comments on Tiktok have a PROBLEM for every SOLUTION. There are taxis from CBDs to airports... you're looking at R25 to R50 for taxis (1 or 2 taxis). Some ppl uber to taxi ranks and bus stations. When you travel long distance you need to consider buying food on the road & the discomfort. Flying is much safer than road transport. Airlines like Lift and Flysafair have cheap flights, especially midweek... you don't have to book weeks or months in advance. Some ppl are addicted to suffering & don't deserve plugs. For those who find value, please share.

The ENM Imbalance Problem A common argument against ethical non-monogamy is that it can’t work because one person will usually have more options, attention, or dating success than the other. And honestly, that can be true. But imbalance exists in monogamy too. The real issue is whether that imbalance gets talked about honestly or used as leverage. ENM doesn’t fail just because things aren’t perfectly equal. It fails when someone says yes out of fear, when jealousy gets dismissed, or when one person’s freedom comes at the other person’s emotional expense. The ethics are in how you handle the messy parts.

Male’ has a volume issue. Vehicle owners will not switch to buses. The people who use buses are those who find taxis too expensive or who have no other options. Those who own vehicles will not switch to buses cause a private vehicle offers convenience and flexibility that buses don’t. Buses in Male’ are a last resort, economical option for the people who use them. They should not be viewed as a traffic congestion solving policy. Increasing the number of buses will only take up more road space in Male’ and will not reduce the number of private vehicles and taxis. The only way to solve the congestion is to limit the number of vehicles.
