The time has finally come for me to watch this biggest little film of ours fly out of our hands and into the world. To Chris Sanders, working on this story with you has been a dream come true. I will never forget how my stunned little heart felt the day you and Jeff offered me Head of Story. It has been one of the great thrills of my life to shape this story with you. Thank you. To my story team! Thank you. You, along with our amazing production team lead by Jeff, Heather, Stephanie and our powerhouse edit team lead by Mary, are all brilliant and I loved every minute of finding and crafting this story with you. I was in the middle of boarding The Egg Hatches scene, when I got the news that my mom had unexpectedly passed away from a complication during surgery. And part of me feels like there is some beautiful symbolism there that right when I lost her, this thing was being born for me to help me deal with her loss. As story artists, we have to live in the scenes that we work on for hours each day. And this film (from peter brown! ‘s beautiful book) gave me a place to live. In scenes and a story that could honor my mom, and all mothers. And that is just a gift that I can never repay any of you for. I still ask myself sometimes, how did I get so lucky that they offered this to me? But I’m so glad they did because I think I needed this project even more than it needed me. On one of my last days in London watching the record of Kris Bowers’ beautiful score, sitting in the converted church that is Air Studios, I could somehow feel my mom speaking to me through the words of the lovely choir: I’m gonna live forever in you, long as the sky and oceans are blue, I’ll always love you and I’ll never stop. I’ll always be there even when I’m not.” And everything came full circle. I miss you Mom. I hope that this film will always stand as a love letter to all moms. As it was the place I put all of my unexpressed love for you. And with that, it’s just as hard for me to say these words as it was for Roz in The Wild Robot but here goes: ROZZUM 7134 Task Complete ✔️ I really hope you all love the film. 🥺♥️ #TheWildRobot

$IREN "we haven't disclosed the specific amount of GPUs" 1. 🤮 reminds me of $NBIS 2. Setting a terrible precedent here for future deals 3. Making it purposely difficult, to not let analysts properly value your 2027 revenue 4. Increasing the polarized view on IREN by the market However: "approximately 60MW of air-cooled Blackwells" 1. You typically don't talk about gross capacity in a deployment like this 2. If it would be gross capacity, the GPU hour rate at IT level would be crazy high (at PUE 1.2, $680m / 50 = 13.6m/MW) 3. At 60MW IT load, and ~14kW draw at DGX server level, we can get to ~4,286 DGX systems with 8 GPUs per. 4. Based on this we can conclude that 60MW of IT load can run approximately 34k DGX B300. 5. 34k DGX B300 at $680m/yr, would represent a GPU hour price of $2.28 Now this is the problem with not disclosing your GPU quantity. You purposely make your business model look bad, because by approach, you get to a GPU hour price that would imply a payback period of 4 years, where only the last year of the contract is 100% margin. But of course, we can also take "the glass is half full" approach. IREN has ordered 50K B300s from Dell. They have 2 purchase orders for this, 1 between Dell Canada and IE CA Leasing Ltd for 4 phases, and 1 between Dell USA and IE US Hardware 1 Inc (amended from IE US Hardware 4 Inc on April 27, 2026). The order for Canada is divided in 4 phases, and are going to Mackenzie for 80MW of gross capacity, which happens to be 4 buildings of 20MW. The order for Childress is divided in 2 phases, and are going to DC35 and DC36, (as depicted in the earnings presentation) and those are 50MW gross. The purchase price of the order for Childress was $1.2B, and for Canada it was $2.3B If we go with 50,000 B300s for a total of $3.5B then $1.2 would represent 34.285% of the 50,000 GPUs, or 17,140 B300s rounded down. For this calculation I will consider that $IREN will deploy 17,140 GPUs in 50MW gross capacity in DC35 and DC36 of block 3 in Childress.. That would imply at 1.2 PUE, IREN can run 17,140 B300s in 41.67MW IT load. Now by that ratio, they can run 24,680 GPUs in 60MW IT load — a massive difference with 34k units through the Nvidia DGX reference calculation. If common sense is applied, you can still get to 2 completely different outcomes, that show a difference of more than 9k GPUs. The GPU hour rate at 24.68k GPUs would be $3.145 per B300, as MASSIVE difference from the earlier calculated $2.28. Sure, the DGX system may be a factor here. And I'm sure that the reality is somewhere in the middle. But I personally hate this as an investor, to be unable to calculate profitability on unit economic basis. After all, contracts are signed on a $/GPU hour basis. Why hide this from your investors? Not being able to calculate payback periods, unable to calculate ROIC. And most importantly, we cannot properly assess the $NVDA deal on a contract basis. I really hope the payback period of this contract is not 4 years. I want the glass to be half full, but by starting to censor the purchases, IREN is taking a step in the wrong direction. Not a fan of this.

Two women are carrying women's basketball on their backs right now, and neither one of them works in the league office. Caitlin Clark brought the audience. That is not a talking point, it is arithmetic. She moved ratings, sold out arenas, and dragged a league that had been ignored for twenty-five years into the center of American sports conversation. The new CBA that lifted the minimum salary above 300,000 dollars and quadrupled the cap does not happen without the money she generated. Every player in that league got a raise because one woman from Iowa would not miss. Sophie Cunningham gave the audience a reason to stay. She said girls should not have to compete against males. She said she was offering truth alongside love, not hate. One sentence, said plainly, in a sport where almost nobody in authority will say anything plainly. And she has been standing in the open taking incoming ever since, while the institution she plays for has not managed to say her name. Look at what happened to the people who showed up for her. Two sixteen year old girls wore XX-XY shirts to a Storm game and held a sign that said thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls. They were booed. A fan yelled security, take the trash out. Two women tried to trip one of them in the aisle. A team co-owner screamed obscenities at them until one of them cried. The league fined that owner and suspended her five home games, which means the league conceded every fact of it. Teenagers. In an arena. For a t-shirt. So think about the actual scoreboard here. Clark built the market. Cunningham defended the category the market exists to watch. Between them they have done more for women's sport in three seasons than a generation of committee statements. And the league's contribution has been a deleted gambling video, a suspended owner, and a head coach who said she was not educated enough from a scientific standpoint to answer whether males belong in the women's game. She coaches women for a living. The cape in this picture is a joke. The job is not. Somebody has to stand between little girls and the people who decided that protecting their category is a controversial opinion. Right now that somebody is a shooting guard from Missouri who was not asking for the assignment. Back your players. They are the only reason anyone is watching. Write that down. 🦋

Georgia's national figure skating team has advanced to the final of the team event at the 25th Olympic Games in Milan. But who actually represents Georgia? - Mostly Russian athletes using Georgia's national team as a convenient way to avoid international sanctions. After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the International Olympic Committee(IOC) imposed sanctions on Russian athletes, which triggered a mass exodus from Russia. This year, at the Winter Olympic Games, athletes from Russia and its ally Belarus were allowed to participate only under a neutral status. However, the IOC rejected most of the athletes submitted by the Russian Figure Skating Federation in pairs and ice dance(with only two exceptions: Adelia Petrosyan and Pyotr Gumenik). It should be noted that most members of Georgia's national team train in Russia(with the exception of the ice dance pair). Let's get to know them better. 🔴 Eteri Tutberidze - an ethnic half-Georgian Russian figure skating coach, best known as the coach of Vladimir Putin's favored athlete Kamila Valieva(who was later disqualified after a banned substance was found in her doping test, resulting in her victory being revoked), also coaches Adelia Petrosyan. Tutberidze herself avoided IOC sanctions by citing illness and not attending the Olympic medal ceremony at the Kremlin. Before Russia's national team was sanctioned, she showed no interest in Georgia whatsoever, openly distanced herself from anything Georgian, does not speak the Georgian language and yet today she has become one of the key figures associated with Georgia's national team. 🔵 Diana Davis - Tutberidze's daughter, competed for Russia as recently as four years ago. Before the war began, she moved to the United States and this year in Milan she is the flag bearer for Georgia!🙂 Her ice dance partner is Gleb Smolkin. Russia granted both of them permission to change sporting citizenship and unexpectedly they became members of Georgia's team. According to ISU regulations, Russian skaters are required to live in their new country for at least one year to change sporting nationality. It is unclear to what extent this rule was actually followed. They currently train in Montreal. 🔵 Anastasia Gubanova - has competed for Georgia since 2021 with Russia's permission. She trains in Saint Petersburg and the Milan Olympics will be the final competition of her career. 🔵Nika Egadze - is a product of the Georgian skating school, but years ago he moved to Moscow to train under Eteri Tutberidze and Sergei Dudakov. 🔵 Anastasia Metelkina - the partner of Luka Berulava, trains with him in Perm, Russia. After winning a European Championship title, Metelkina spoke in Russian, while Luka, unlike many others, openly identifies Georgian as his native language. 🙂And I still don't understand why the national team's uniform has been changed to blue, when Georgia has always competed in the colors of its national flag!🇬🇪

THE GAUNTLET IS THROWN: Tokyo Sexwale and the Battle for the ANC’s Soul The shadow boxing is over; the heavyweight bout for the future of the African National Congress has begun. With the 2027 elective conference looming like a final exam the party cannot afford to fail, a veteran titan has re-entered the arena: Tokyo Sexwale. Whispers have turned into strategic shouts as ANC structures in KwaZulu-Natal reportedly lead the charge to draft Sexwale. A lobby group calling itself the "Tokyo/Mvela Perspective" has circulated a discussion document titled Motivation for Consideration of Tokyo Sexwale for ANC presidency to ignite a fire under the party’s rank-and-file. This isn’t just a nomination; it’s a provocation for a party at a crossroads. Supporters aren't just selling a name; they’re selling a legacy. They argue Sexwale offers a rare "triple threat": ■ Deep Struggle Credentials: A Robben Island pedigree that commands instant respect. ■ Executive Muscle: Proven governance as a former Gauteng Premier and Cabinet Minister. ■ The "Clean" Narrative: A pivot toward ethical leadership at a time when the party is desperate for "renewal". Sexwale’s recent appearance at Robben Island with the new US Ambassador, L. Brent Bozell III, hasn't just turned heads—it’s raised eyebrows. During the visit, Sexwale reportedly moved the ambassador to tears, while pointedly remarking that the "C" in ANC was inspired by the American Congress, signaling a potentially bold new global diplomatic stance. This push for Sexwale comes as the ANC stares down its own mortality. The stakes couldn't be higher: 👉 Bleeding Ballots: Rapidly declining electoral support following the 2024 results. 👉 The Coalition Trap: A growing, humbling reliance on coalition partners to stay in power. 👉 The Identity Crisis: A civil war between those desperate for "Renewal" and those clinging to "Continuity". Sexwale enters a crowded kitchen. The heat is already coming from other heavyweights: * Paul Mashatile (Deputy President). * Patrice Motsepe, who leads some early polls despite his public denials of interest. * Fikile Mbalula (Secretary-General). * Thoko Didiza (National Assembly Speaker). While some whisper of a Ramaphosa Third Term as a stabilizing force, President Cyril Ramaphosa has already warned that early campaigning is a dangerous distraction from urgent service delivery. #Politics #campaign

There’s a feeling of “wtf is a designer anymore” floating around… I felt it while scrolling Reddit after Figma Make was announced 😬 For some people it simply didn’t compute that a code prototype could be a design artifact. But I’ll let you in on a little secret… A few days ago I visited a well-known design leader and he said that in the last 6 months, ~40% of their team's design artifacts are now created in Lovable, Bolt, etc. That’s kind of crazy, right? It's a big reason why Ioana Teleanu (1st AI designer at Miro) said design is "in the middle of an identity crisis" So Ioana and I went deep into this topic during today's episode and I want to share a few ideas I’m still thinking about: ——— We’re in a weird moment in history where there are AI designers and non-AI designers. But this is a blip on the timeline as adoption accelerates. The idea of "AI designer" won't exist in the future Here's what Ioana said 👇 “We’re all gonna be thinking about some sort of AI angle in the way we do our work. I don’t even feel that the AI design role will exist in this explicit format in a couple of years. All the designers will be AI designers” I want to make something clear though... Ioana described herself as generally “change averse” and the type of person who "DOESN'T jump on new things" That’s why her initial approach to AI was a bit less intentional… But now she’s changed her tune: “We have a moral duty to experiment with these technologies because we're designers and we should be curious about the world, and we should be curious about the future.” The cost of ignoring new technology has never been higher So if you’re interested in what it looks like to design AI experiences within your existing product then I think you’ll really enjoy this week's episode Ioana shares a ton of lessons learned from Miro and frameworks for how she helps clients integrate AI effectively 👇

our concert on Apple Music Live is officially out. i have not toured since my first album. even though i feel like the stage is my second home, i always felt like more of a studio hermit and like i needed to be off the road to become me 🙋🏻‍♀️ when we made C, XOXO, i knew i had to tour this body of work. these songs, these lyrics, these drums, this ENERGY - was MADE to be experienced live. it’s a world of women with bark and bite, of a Miami Spring Breakers fantasy, of BMX bikers, of bravado, of friendship 💘, of an eternal Miami, Dade County summer. 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘 what premiered last night is the first show we ever did in Lisbon, Portugal and it was the first time I’d been on stage in a couple years. We were all so nervous but we left it all out there. not once did these shows ever feel like work. if anything going onstage felt like going to a party and blowing off steam no matter what was going on. i am so grateful to every single person who made this show happen. every character on stage - from every single one of the XOXOGIRLS who form such a crucial part of this energy, to our BMX boys, to our robot dogs, to everyone behind the scenes who poured their creativity, work ethic, and talent to make the show of my dreams. thank you Apple Music for sharing it with everyone who couldn’t be there this summer for our mini festival run. and like i said, i can’t not tour C, XOXO. so…. see the rest of you soon ;)

🙏🇺🇸🙏 He was 22 years old. Still closer to high school than middle age. Yet he was already leading in war. On January 15, 2006, in Baqubah, Iraq, Army Corporal Dustin L. Kendall was conducting combat operations with the 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colorado. The streets were tense. Every patrol carried risk. Every doorway could hide danger. That day, the danger found him. Dustin was k*lled in action. In a single violent moment, a son from Conway, Arkansas, became a folded flag. Behind every rank is a story. Dustin was not just a Corporal. He was someone's child. Someone's friend. Someone who once laughed without the weight of body armor on his shoulders. He chose to serve when others stayed home. He accepted responsibility when others hesitated. They carry the lives of those beside them. They move first. They set the tone. They stand steady when fear creeps in. In Iraq, that meant long patrols under harsh sun. Sleepless nights. The constant awareness that a mission could turn deadly without warning. He kept showing up. He kept wearing the uniform. He kept leading. When news reached Arkansas, the world paused for a moment. Flags lowered. Names spoken softly. A community grieving together. Then time moved forward. But for his family, January 15, 2006, never truly passed. Dustin L. Kendall gave everything at 22. He will never grow older. Never start a second career. Never sit on a porch years from now telling stories about youth. His story ended in Iraq. But his courage dia not. It lives in the men he served beside. It lives in the memory of a town that will not forget. He stood his ground. And he paid the ultimate price 🙏🇺🇸🙏 Young leaders like him carry more than equipment.

INF Gavin Kilen (Tennessee Baseball) will be a key piece within a loaded Tennessee lineup this season. Earned the starting 2B job as a Freshman and contributed, but broke out last spring to the tune of a .330/.361/.591 slash line with 23 2B, 3 3B, 9 HR and 41 RBIs. Kilen is slightly undersized and has an average build at 5'11 and 180-lbs. Some room to fill out and add ~10 pounds or so. Relaxed, slightly crouched stance in the box with a medium high handset. Minimal load in which his hands drift slightly, leg lift leads into a small stride. Short, compact swing and takes a direct path to contact. Above-average hand speed, it's an operation that's tailored towards spraying line drives all over the yard. Kilen is a hit-over-power profile with an aggressive approach in the box. He has plus bat-to-ball skills and his feel for the barrel is evident. Last spring, Kilen worked a 93% IZ contact rate, including 95% against FB. His aggressive approach and somewhat free-swinger mentality does lead to some chase up against FB and secondaries down, but it hasn't been a hindrance to his production. Kilen pounces on pitches in the zone and steps in the box ready to hit. Would give his hit tool a 55. It's more gap power than it is over the fence power for Kilen, but he did tap into some more impact last season. Part of that is due to getting the ball up in the air more: between '23 and '24 he increased his FB+LD% from 44% to 51%. It will always play as slightly below average (fringy), but he did post a Max EV of 108.5 during the spring and 101.4 this summer. Kilen's HR impact and highest quality of contact comes to the pull side. Vast majority of his XBH power comes on pitches in the bottom-half of the zone, which makes sense given his bat path. Has shown the ability to work from gap-to-gap. Kilen was Louisville's every day SS last spring, but he'll slide over to 2B this season for Tennessee. I actually think that's where he profiles best defensively as a professional, where he has an average arm with some range. After seeing him at SS for a couple of summers, his actions and clock translate better at 2B. Kilen is a day 1 type this July with top-55 overall upside.
