A fire outbreak has been reported near the Jin Yuan Jia Mattress Manufacturing Plant at Afienya that was recently shut down by the Ghana Standards Authority. Reports indicate that an electricity transformer recently installed to provide power to facilities in the area caught fire under circumstances that are yet to be determined. Fire service personnel are yet to arrive at the scene to contain the blaze and commence investigations into the cause of the incident.
