Mark Carney highlights how far behind Canadian businesses are in adapting AI: "Globally, Canada ranks near the bottom of countries in AI training, and literacy and trust. Only 12% of Canadian businesses are using AI today. Among small and medium-sized businesses, adoption is even lower." This is actually a good thing to recognize and vocalize. He is actually quoting a Statistics Canada research paper. Adapting technology that generates productivity multipliers is a key for Canadian industries to actually be competitive on the world stage.

I have to fact check Canada's Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne, again. The dairy supply management system hasn't been serving Canadian well at all. Not only it reduces supply of dairy production artificially to keep prices up and red taped farmers, the actual number of dairy farms in Canada has dropped by almost 30% in just 14 years. The number of jobs in this industry has also dropped by thousands over the last 20 years. Canada needs more choices, less taxes, and less protectionism. A system that makes farmers throw their product away instead of giving it out and reduce prices or get penalized isn't it.

Remember folks, Mark Carney promised to impose counter tariffs against the USA, during the Canadian federal election. When Carney removed the tariffs after the election, it convinced companies it was a better deal to move to the USA, than stay in Canada. Mark Carney paved the way for the expanded exodus of the Canadian auto sector, into the USA. If CUSMA dies, the Canadian economy is in for massive trouble going forward.

Mark Carney blames Conservatives on the weakening Canadian dollar and inflation of food 🤦🏼 "One of the impacts on food prices is the fall of the Canadian dollar caused by the obstructionism of the members opposite before this government came in place." What?! An absolute insane thing to say by someone cosplaying as a genius economist. The Liberals don't have a single policy to reduce costs or remove red tape from out food production and supply chain, nevermind that they been in power for 10 years plus 10 months under his government.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney just confirmed that if the US was to invade Greenland, Canada would view it as an attack on Canada, would be obligated to assist in Greenland's defense, and could use military force against the United States. “The future of Greenland is a decision for Greenland and for the kingdom of Denmark. We are NATO partners with Denmark and so our full partnership stands. Our obligations on Article 5, an Article 2 of NATO stand and we stand fully squared behind those.”

Canada will import Chinese spy machines - EVs because according to Mark Carney we plan to build our own EV sector and need Chinese supplies to build them because it is so Canada First. "For Canada to build our own competitive EV sector; we need to learn from, partner with, and access and build supply chains with China." Reminder - Canada's Liberals bet $52B+ on battery plants as a promise to closed loop supply chain within Canada, and not rely on China. The whole point of current events is to build up our manufacturing. The reason the Chinese EVs are so competitive aka cheap is because the government subsidizing them. Is Canada planning to do the same?
