Mark Carney highlights how far behind Canadian businesses are in adapting AI: "Globally, Canada ranks near the bottom of countries in AI training, and literacy and trust. Only 12% of Canadian businesses are using AI today. Among small and medium-sized businesses, adoption is even lower." This is actually a good thing to recognize and vocalize. I have to fact check Canada's Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne, again. The dairy supply management system hasn't been serving Canadian well at all. Not only it reduces supply of dairy production artificially to keep prices up and red taped farmers, the actual number of dairy farms in Canada has dropped by almost 30% in just 14 years. The number of jobs in this industry has also dropped by thousands over the last 20 years. Canada needs more choices, less taxes, and less protectionism. A system that makes farmers throw their product away instead of giving it out and reduce prices or get penalized isn't it.

Remember folks, Mark Carney promised to impose counter tariffs against the USA, during the Canadian federal election. When Carney removed the tariffs after the election, it convinced companies it was a better deal to move to the USA, than stay in Canada. Mark Carney paved the way for the expanded exodus of the Canadian auto sector, into the USA. If CUSMA dies, the Canadian economy is in for massive trouble going forward.

Mark Carney: "As you know, virtually half of the people in the greater GTA were born outside of this country. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney just confirmed that if the US was to invade Greenland, Canada would view it as an attack on Canada, would be obligated to assist in Greenland's defense, and could use military force against the United States. “The future of Greenland is a decision for Greenland and for the kingdom of Denmark. "For Canada to build our own competitive EV sector; we need to learn from, partner with, and access and build supply chains with China." Reminder - Canada's Liberals bet $52B+ on battery plants as a promise to closed loop supply chain within Canada, and not rely on China. Do you understand what Mark Carney is saying here? He just admitted to something... "When I talk to businesses around the country, especially in Quebec, their number one issue is tariffs and their number two issue is access to temporary foreign workers." What Carney is saying is that his corporate buddies don't want to hire Canadians and lobbying for a pipeline of cheap foreign workers instead. And Mark Carney is OK with it because the Liberal's Build Canada is without Canadian workers which aligns perfectly with their Century Initiative mass immigration plan.

Nobody comes into my office and says they've been losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. They've quietly rearranged their lives around what they can no longer do... and most of them didn't notice it happening. This is what I think of as the narrowing of people's lives. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.

He is talking about a balanced OPERATIONAL budget. An operational budget refers only to the expenses of running the country. It does not include incredibly expensive CAPITAL expenses. Instead, Minister Champagne refers to capital expenses as investments. THAT IS COMPLETE DISHONESTY. There is no G20 country that has this type of accounting practice. This is important to understand because Canada must go to the bond market to raise money. The bond market does not give a damn how you categorize your debt. Whether it's operational or capital spending, the deeper you get into debt the higher the rate of interest you will have to pay on that debt. In essence, both Carney and Champagne are grossly misleading the Canadian public by telling them that they will balance the operational budget. They're hoping that you don't understand how budgets work, and the truth is they will likely get away with it. Expect a massive increase in our national debt under a Carney government.
