This year's youngest recipient of Order of Cultural Merit, I'm a singer, G-Dragon. 🙋🏻‍♀️: YOU'RE SO HANDSOMEEEE!!!! 🐉: I know, I know, I know, I know ~ I had a comeback after resting for a bit- for a while, and next week is gonna be exactly one year since I made my comeback. In my memory, I think I was 6 years old when I held my mom's hand and dragged her with my whole body, the first place we went to was an audition site. From that day on, until now I have been dreaming the same dream, in my 10s since being a singer is my dream, so my dream came true, in my 20s I received awards, and today in my 30s I even received the Order of Cultural Merit - Jewel Crown, I really look forward to my 40s. Ah, I just happened to urgently took a restroom break and ran back here in a hurry, I actually prepared a lot for today, but I'm so out of breath. I prepared a lot, but the moment I'm on stage I'm not really sure of what I should be saying. First of all, when I was young, I really respected singers, and that's how it is now as well. I'm so proud of the fact that I, myself is a singer, I really like what I'm doing, I love it. Not only that, so many sunbaenims that made me dream, those people to me are like shining stars at night. So I grew up listening to the song of stars, after becoming one of those stars myself, next year my group will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, I wish to share this honor together with my members. Incredibly grateful to all of you who have reached out, offering prayers, encouragement, and advice, and asking us what specifically to pray for. I recorded this update a couple of days ago when I happened to already have my hair and makeup done for an interview with my friend Eric Metaxas . (NOT gonna waste a good makeup day, right?!? 😄 ). Right now I’m sitting here undergoing my first chemo infusion. So I will humbly ask for prayers for a complete response. I can tell you that God has been very good and that I have experienced minimal side effects so far and the Basham family has been enjoying great peace. The Psalm from my Bible reading plan today was providentially apt: “Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take up shield and armor; arise and come to my aid. Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Say to me, ‘I am your salvation.’” Trusting in the One who fights for me to fight this cancer.
