A driver gets a £130 fine after being blocked in a yellow junction box in Redbridge, East London

Clearly doesn't understand. The Highway Code says don't enter a box junction unless you can see the exit is clear. Rightly got a fine for being an idiot.

Can we just put some perspective on how ridiculous this is? £130 (£200 gross) because you went in a stupid little box?! Khan man, he’s literally the worst bloke on the planet. The fine you should be £20. Prick.

The white car can’t drive because there’s loads of space but ultimately you’re in the wrong here, these greedy councils won’t let you off this one here.

That box junction is illegal it spans wider than the actual exit it is protecting, appeal your ticket.

Someone should publish a highway code on these matters

As much as I hate these cameras and what khan has done to London, he’s in the box and that’s the rules. I make sure I hang back before I know it’s clear, especially in towns & cities.
