There is a fly in the ointment for most conservative voters, Mr Dutton. You have committed to a U16 social media ban. While your intent behind this is most likely noble, it comes across to parents as further encroachment of government into our lives. It's a real shame really as I think most of your other policies are fantastic, just not this one. It looks as though you are on track to claim victory in this upcoming election. All I ask as a father of young children is that you please just stay out of our personal lives and let us parent our children the way we would like to. The bans will not work, I promise you that. I have already instructed my children on how to circumvent them should they be implemented. You underestimate how resourceful our kids are.
