The father is in a tough spot. Understandably, he doesn't want to bring his daughters into the men's restroom and if he takes them to the women's restroom, he risks someone getting mad.

I’m a woman and this would not bother me at all. Good job Dad. No little kids should use the restroom alone and the men’s restroom is gross usually. He checked prior and didn’t bother anyone.

As a woman, I'd have no problem with a Dad bringing his two little girls in an empty women's bathroom! I would not have been comfortable in the men's at their ages. There didn't seem to be any urgent reason for this outburst.

As a woman, I think it’s perfectly acceptable that the dad took his two little girls to the empty women’s bathroom. I’d have waited patiently had I needed to go. Kudos to the dad for standing his ground and remaining calm.

This is actually a real problem. As a single dad with two daughters, when they were young, bathroom availability decided where we went much of the time. Of course when they got old enough to go by themselves it quit being an issue. That guy on the phone was just an unmitigated ass.
