She has insurance “Why does nobody talk about health insurance and what a f*cking scam it is” With full insurance she’s having to pay hundreds of dollars for tests, hundreds more for blood work, she’s quoted $10,000 more to have a baby The doctor wanted her to have a minor surgery beforehand, she was quoted $5,000 so she can’t do it “So I went in and I asked my OB, like how much does it typically cost to have a child with insurance? $10,000. Average. What? So people are just like popping five kids out, racking up $50,000 medical bills? Why doesn't anyone talk about this? I've never heard how much it costs to have a baby, just to have a baby, without complications. If you have complications, obviously it's going to be so much more expensive. I don't know. At this point, I'm like, why are we even paying for health insurance?”
