There is a strong argument to be made that if Nigel Farage was PM, we would be bombing Iran right now. The video below shows clearly that Nigel Farage supported joining the US and Israelis to attack Iran at the start of the conflict. While Reform are now trying to distance themselves from the idea, at their Welsh manifesto launch just a 13 days ago, Farage was clear on where he stood. He said was “generally” somebody who was “very, very deeply nervous about getting involved with foreign wars” but that “there is something fundamentally different about Iran”. He then bizarrely links Iran to unfounded accusations of election rigging in the Gorton and Denton byelection where Reform were defeated by the Greens. He said if there was “one big justifiable reason why we should have supported the Americans on day one” that “if this war stops Iran getting a nuclear bomb it will have been worth it.” Just five days after this Mr Farage rowed back saying Britain should “not get ourselves involved in another foreign war”. Plain chapatis cost 500 UGX are torn in pieces and thrown at people, in a manner suggesting benevolence is merely handed down from those in power to those at the bottom. At that exact point, I believe we have veered off the main cause.

Day 30 of 30 of our #fitseptember challenge. We have fought a good fight, we have finished the race, we have kept the faith! 1,200 press-ups is not beans. There have been distractions, doubters, ill health, days where we didn’t want to get out of bed and days we didn’t know how we would survive it. But we didn’t give up. We kept going until victory. I thank everyone what has walked this journey with me. I hope that they have found it rewarding not just physically but also in the challenge’s ability to build resilience, perseverance and staying power. Saint Paul said when he had finished the race that there is a crown of righteousness in store for him. I don’t have a crown of righteousness for those that finished this race with me but I can send a little airtime to each of the 45 people that I know walked the entire journey with me, to say THANK YOU! 🙏🏾

We just visited Sour (Tyre) in south Lebanon. Last month, when the US and Iran agreed to a ceasefire covering Lebanon, Israel issued an evacuation order for Sour. It has bombed Sour repeatedly since then. A few days ago, Israel attacked the Jabal Amel Hospital in Sour, killing at least four persons. Israel is terrorizing Lebanon's medical system.
