When I was younger and battled serious trials. I believed that God was causing all of these problems in my life. That everything was happening for a divine reason. It caused me to seperate from God because going through what I did was very painful. I came to learn that there are many trials we will face caused by our sin, others sins or from human error and a fallen state. This young man’s trust in god is amazing!

Yesterday my 18yo nephew died in a motorcycle crash. As I sat with my brother and talked about how he could tap into Christ’s atonement in the months and years to come, I witnessed the miracle of Christ’s power to bring much needed peace and hope. He went from sobbing to calm.

The early Church didn’t baptize the dead. They preached repentance to the living. “People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” -Hebrews 9:27
