Obviously there are millions and billions of parents and children that are doing it right and finding the middle. However let there be no confusion. Over the last 20, 30 years of extraordinary economic prosperity, many first-world countries have gotten into situations where children are still on the payroll well into their twenties and thirties. Parents have started fighting the fights for their children at school and even into their twenties when the kids are at sporting challenges or at work. I even had a parent and child, aka a grown up that was 23 years old, that asked if their mom could come to the interview for them at the company. There's clearly been a wave of entitlement and over-coddling and it's really hurting both parties. This energy you feel in this video is not about anger or judgment because trust me I'm a parent. It's the hardest job in the world. This video is about the pain I feel for both the parent and the 25-year-old that I'm coming across every single day in my direct messages or on the street. So much of it has to do with the parents continuing to pay and compensate and allow for excuses of their grown-ass children. I hope this video helps and inspires just one kid and just one parent so that their day-to-day lives can be a lot better. Sending love to everyone.

Today is exactly one month since Borno & Oyo State schoolchildren were kidnapped! ONE WHOLE MONTH, & our children are not back! They are eighty-one in number, including seven teachers. We lost a teacher in a beheading. From public outcry to street protests. Then we move on. Please we shouldn’t forget them. It’s the rainy season in Nigeria, they must be cold. There are mosquitoes, their immune system is not that strong. Then there is acute malnutrition otherwise called kwashiorkor. There are waterborne diseases as well. Diarrhea, malaria, acute malnutrition, etc. The children are dealing with all of these elements. Then there is the human factor — trauma in the form of constant trepidation. My paranoia is justified! They risk becoming child brides. Child marriage is not a thing to sweep under the rug. Who is going to give them the closure they so desperately need? Closure is a psychological support to move on & achieve your life dreams. I’m sure they have a bucket list, goals or things they want to achieve during their lifetime. I’m sure we have engineers, doctors, teachers, nurses, pilots, architects, etc among them. This is their formative years. They shouldn’t miss out on a sheltered life; the promise of a better tomorrow. We shouldn’t forget them! They stay in the bush so that politicians can soirée & party harder. Nigeria is the father that abandoned his children. Please remember them today & say a prayer for them. They remind us that Nigeria is a country of particular concern. This is heartbreaking. This is solidarity. Children are praying for their friends to be rescued. A mother who is a teacher is crying for help. The significance of “May 15” is not lost on us. 📌 Women have lost their way in politics. They believe that they can make change by voting, knocking on doors, and making donations. But that's not how it's done. Their true power has not been realized yet and way too many are running from the real task. What is the real task? Raising the babies. Feminism has led women away from their natural roles. They have led them away from marriage and family. Their goals are the opposite of what they are designed for. Women are chasing careers exhaustively and wondering why they feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled. Fulfillment comes from family. It's the only thing that can make you feel full. Women have not yet realized their full potential or power. Mostly because they are impatient and want everything NOW. But powerful nations are built across generations so the mindset needs to be long-term. The politics women want need to be instilled in the children. As the children grow, they will pollinate society with their culture and politics. The way they act, breathe, and think will naturally spread to others. Those with weak politics will be influenced by your strong-minded children. But you have abandoned your post, and now your children are being conditioned by the wrong kind of politics. The nefarious politics from their peers sheds all over them. The poor culture leeches and possesses your children. Then you wake up one day and wonder why your children are unrecognizable. Society's planners have long understood that you control a nation by molding the minds of the youth. They have used media and education to turn your kids into enemies of your politics and culture. But none of that would be possible unless women abandoned their posts. Mothers think that because their children have food, water, and shelter, the job is done. They want to do the bare minimum and call it raising a child. But what we are dealing with is the outsourcing of parenthood. You have given the state control of your children. You have said, "I don't want to be bothered with raising my children." Until this attitude changes, and mothers see their importance and true power, politics in this country will always lead us away from God.

Let me know when the pale male can walk into an interview and get a job based on their skills and not rejected based on their skin colour. Let me know when Black children are accepted into university on the back of their results and not their skin colour to fill a quota system. Let me know when White children with straight A's are accepted into medical schools ahead of Blacks with C's. Maybe then I'll actually open an ear and listen to you and your social justice and human rights double-speak. Just as the ANC cadres exiled themselves during Apartheid, now Whites are exiling themselves from the current crap-hole that is South Africa. Where there aren't the crime levels as seen in SA; where the schools and hospitals function; where there is law and order; where there is safety and security. Where farmers are appreciated and revered..... And most importantly, where there are no racist hiring policies and where people can make it on their own. Where there is hardly any corruption and where their taxes are actually appreciated. White South Africans are tired of being the scapegoat for the useless ANC government. They are tired of the endless White-guilt and White-privilege labels and the constant harrassment - even from their own. They are tired of listening to the likes of Julias Malema telling them they must leave if they're not happy; or how they must feel perpetually guilty for all that the White race has accomplished in South Africa. They are tired of the uncertainty, where their land can be taken from them on the whim of a communist comrade. White South Africans are tired of feeding the pigs at the government trough. So, please tell me what can you offer them that they don't already have in their new countries? Can you offer them better jobs? Less crime? Stability? A better life? Good education, health and security?? Or just a pretty country with a black soul? Why would we want to stay in a country which is on the brink of collapse and circling the drain? It's now the turn of the Black South Africans to keep the lights on.... The Blacks now need to show us Whites how they can do better. We've given them a 25-year head start and It's time for them to stop blaming a tiny minority for all their shortcomings. It's time for the South African Black man to put up or shut up.

Today, I taught my kids principle of the combustion engine focused on the crank shaft. We started by having them in groups brainstorm how they believe an engine works, then I simplified it for them, and at the end, have them create small models using toys. First, these are my kids, they are in primary 2 (8 years old). I started with them 2 years ago when they were 6 years old and most of them couldn’t even write their names. We can also do this in Nigeria: 1. Kids are all born the same, but the right nutrition at early age helps cognitive development. Let’s build stable local industries that focus on production of children meals that are rich in proteins and vitamins that are good for the children’s brain development. Too much pap and two which are carbohydrates rich aren’t sufficient, and can affect academic performance of children, whom eventually grow up to be the politicians that think giving poor people giveaways in comment sections is helping the economy. 2. Primary education is way too important to be treated as political privilege or achievement. All the countries that invested in their children such as Japan, China, US, Singapore, Finland have far superior economies and quality of life compared to the countries that didn’t. Teachers are not just civil servants, they are looked at as heroes, soldiers, critical individuals that make or break a society. They earn well, they are taken cared of and they are some of the most intelligent and creative people in a country. A keke driver knows how important his Keke is so he can make money, so he takes care of it. Don’t take care of primary school teachers, you should prepare for poverty and insecurity. Playing the blame game on political parties or candidates and insulting each other on the internet only takes our minds away from what is important. Let’s put aside political, religious, ethnic and sentimental differences and prepare a future for our children and grandchildren so they wouldn’t be slaves to my students in the future. The Nigerian education system and curriculum right now is as good as nothing. 3. Skills are part of education/degree: It is unfortunate that a former student who had so many carryovers in mathematics (which is the backbone of computer science) and barely graduated and purchased highest education certificates is confusing and discouraging people who are putting their sweat and time to get a difficult, expensive and ancient degrees in Nigeria. Considering how he failed many courses so many times, it’s not surprising that he is taking a shot at university education. Well, skills are part of degrees in normal and functioning universities and education systems with updated curriculums that fits its economy. In fact, those skills start from primary school, and I believe the professor should advocate for updated curriculums that include more modern skills, practicals, field trips, work attachments that will jumpstart Nigeria’s failing economy not destroy the little that is left in degrees and the hope millions of poor citizens have for them. 4. Native language is the way to go: Yes Nigeria has many languages, so we can use multiple official local languages in different regions to educate and run the government. English can be an optional subject in school which parents can choose. Sacrifice has to be made in order to develop, so some smaller ethnic groups that have few speakers should adopt one of the major languages in Nigeria as a secondary language to be used at home, and that would the language to use at school. Controversial? Yes, but the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. The past is the past, we can only learn from it. Let’s use these lessons and start building a better future for our children and grandchildren now. Prayers are good, but they aren’t enough and shouldn’t take most of our time and energy. We have to physically work harder than we pray.
