Three weeks in India 🇮🇳 and now back home with a grateful heart. What began as a journey for surgery became a reminder of the power of faith, love, and resilience. I thank God for seeing me through a successful procedure and bringing me safely back home. To everyone who checked on me daily, prayed for me, called, texted, and kept me in their thoughts ,thank you. Your support meant more than words can express. To those who stood by me throughout this journey and traveled with me, thank you for your care and support. And to my son,my greatest blessing, thank you for giving me a reason to keep fighting. Every time I came back from the hospital and saw your face, I felt stronger. You reminded me of what truly matters and gave me the strength to keep going.The healing continues, but today my heart is full of gratitude for life, for health, for family, for friendship, and for every prayer said on my behalf. Alhamdulillah 🤍 #GodAboveAll🙏🏾

2025 was a very tough year for me and my family. I’m not someone who usually shares very personal things here, but I wanted to be honest because we’re all human, and we all go through hard seasons 🥹🙏🏽🤍 This year I dealt with anxiety in a way I never had before. We lost two family members, and one of them was someone who truly became like a second dad to me. He was such an important part of our family, and his loss deeply changed us. Then, just when I thought my heart couldn’t take more, a few weeks ago I almost lost my dad to a heart attack. Thank God he’s healing and doing better 🙏🏽❤️ but It was unexpected, scary, and life-shaking. It was a year of ups and downs. God opened doors for me in the most incredible ways ✨🙏🏽 but He also walked me through moments that tested me and taught me to slow down and appreciate life in a deeper way. If this year was heavy for you too, I’m with you and I understand you 🙏🏽❤️ love you mi gente!

🚨BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: It has never been more clear that the battle for our nation is not political, it is spiritual. I am excited to announce that I have been invited to join the team at the National Faith Advisory Board to equip pastors to step up and speak out about religious freedom, to fight for life at all stages, to stand for family values, and to promote a strong America that puts God first. I will continue to be a pastor at Mercy Culture Church, and oversee For Liberty & Justice, an organization that practically helps mobilize churches across America to take a stand for religious liberty and Biblical justice. In order to step into what God is calling my family and I into in this next season, I will not be running for re-election for the Texas House. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to represent Texas House District 93 and to fight for our Texas Conservative values. Thank you to every grassroots warrior, every donor, and every constituent who trusted me and has allowed me to serve you. I remember when I was about 22 or 23, and I was at one of the lowest points in my life for various reasons… I felt the need to go to church and wanted to find “peace” in my heart. I felt lost… I felt like I needed God in my life. I didn’t know what that even meant, I just felt it. I ended up at a church with a pastor very similar to this man.. and I wasn’t even a spiritual person back then, but everything inside of me was screaming to get out. Looking back now, without knowing it.. I felt demonic forces at play. God was telling me to get out. Eventually I found my way, and that was only because of my journey — I sat down one night and just started talking to God… not even understanding that I was praying.. From that point on, my life changed so much and I began to see things differently, God revealed things to me, and taught me how to find clarity in all situations,.. I found peace. There is no peace that can be found at Churches like this and with Pastors like this… true peace comes when you just start opening your mouth to speak God’s name and begin talking to him. You don’t need a church to find God.
