After so much pressure from commenters and other Nigerians, I have decided to dedicate this week to using my platform to discuss the good things the APC government has done since assuming office. After listening to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Democracy Day speech, including his warning to terrorists and his encouragement to Nigerian youths not to give up on Nigeria, I found myself reflecting deeply. These are the same youths who have been told for years that they are the leaders of tomorrow, yet many of them can barely survive today. How can they lead tomorrow if they cannot live with dignity today? How can they continue to believe in Nigeria when the opportunities they need seem increasingly out of reach? As I watched Mr. President speak about democracy, I found myself asking once again: Are we truly living under a democratic government?

It may interest you to know that my elder brother and the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, Omoyele Sowore was one of the first people I had to meet and appreciate on the very night I was released from DSS custody. I may not be able to mention everyone’s name, but please understand that I truly appreciate Nigerians, and my love and passion for a better Nigeria has only doubled. As for the repost of a comment made by someone else, that was an error. For now, I want us to focus on demanding a good and working Nigeria that we can all be proud of. Justice can never be cracked

A few weeks ago, my life flashed before my eyes. Just when I thought it was all over, God showed up for me and showed me mercy. He raised voices across Nigeria to speak for me and stand by me. Today, I went to church His Treasure House Int'l Ministries to thank God for preserving my life, granting me strength, and carrying me through one of the most difficult moments of my life. I remain grateful to God and to every Nigerian who stood with me. 🇳🇬🙏🏾
