I live in Northern California. Went through the Parsdise fire of 2018 when Trump visited and told Newsom to get it together. This is what years of incompetent governance produces. My county voted Trump. We're not all liberals. I'm praying the rest of California wakes up

Fire activity continues in California: The Sandy Fire continues to eat away on the Southern portion of the fire. Crews and heavy equipment are engaged. A new start called the Bain Fire in Riverside county, is very active and evacuations have been ordered. The fire is burning in the Santa Ana River bottom, off Limonite Ave. 6 air tankers are on a no divert order due to property and life threat. And additional 25 engines have also been ordered. Thanks to subscriber Jake Klatt for sharing this footage.

JUST IN: The DC-10 tanker has dropped about 10,000 gallons of fire retardant to slow the fire in Brentwood. The move was made after there was a "significant" flare-up last night regarding the Palisades fire. The DC-10 was manufactured by McDonnell Douglas and is somewhat comparable to the Boeing 747 but is able to use shorter runways. The Palisades Fire grew by 1,000 acres overnight.

There's a big firefight going on west of Sepulveda Pass on the Palisades Fire, and this CH-47D Chinook has been tagging it every five minutes, bouncing back & forth to the Encino Reservoir. The fire lines up there look pretty good, in light winds.
