As a teacher, parent assessment is a tough one. I am blamed for students not doing homework, not studying, not prepping. I receive excuse after excuse and am expected to make exceptions for some even to accepting work months later to save the grade. “No one would know.” Except I would know. Sad thing is that I teach seniors. So no, perhaps parents shouldn’t be involved in my performance review.
