A fun Android root exploit that we built over the 4th of July weekend. It works on the latest Samsung S26 Ultra and should work across the entire Galaxy S lineup. We reported the bug to Samsung and will share the technical details after it's fixed.

Samsung just added AirDrop support to Quick Share on the Galaxy S26. Google already did this on Pixel 10 last year. Now Samsung is doing it too. So Android and iPhone can now share files with each other natively. No apps. No cables. Rolling out from today. Korea gets it first. Then North America, Europe, Japan, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Only S26 series for now. More devices later. You have to turn it on manually in Quick Share settings though. Not on by default. Is this the feature that finally makes file sharing between Android and iPhone less painful?

In my opinion, the single biggest upgrade Samsung should make to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is to bring the Galaxy Z Flip 8's ultra-thin bezels to it. Just shrinking the bezels one more step would completely transform the Fold 8's look. It would easily become the best-looking book-style foldable in my eyes.
