A genuine question deserves a factual answer, not a convenient strawman. The premise that “not even a single member” of the Reservation Hatao Andolan has raised the issue of Muslim or Christian reservations is simply incorrect. Dr. Neha Das has repeatedly spoken about this very issue, not once but...

I think @neha_laldas you are having an unfair advantage over @kushal_mehra. You remember the arguments, the data and the public record, while Kushal appears to be suffering from a rather convenient case of selective memory. Perhaps we should forgive him. After all, it is difficult to debate the record when you seem to remember only the portions that serve your argument. No offence, Kushal. Maybe a quick revisit of the timeline before the next sweeping claim would help.

The problem with people like you @kushal_mehra is that you seem to read timelines selectively and then build arguments around whatever conveniently fits your narrative perhaps even the party line you have already decided to follow That may work for partisan discourse. It does not work here. We do not operate by selectively cherry picking timelines convenient talking points or dictated narratives. We look at the entire record including arguments we disagree with before reaching a conclusion. Neha Lal Das has spoken about this issue repeatedly not once not twice but across numerous tweets and public interventions. Yet you conveniently overlook all of that and then ask why nobody is talking about it. That is not intellectual honesty. That is selective outrage masquerading as inquiry. By all means challenge the RHA. Disagree with its arguments. Demand consistency. But first try arguing with what people have actually said and not with the version of them that makes your argument easier. Some of us read the whole timeline. We do not just read the parts that suit us.

That is precisely what @neha_laldas has been doing and she has done so publicly alongside people like @TVMohandasPai and @Venkatrama83785. There is a substantial public record to showcase, not merely one convenient tweet. Neha is also closely associated with YFE and has consistently raised these issues across social media and public discourse. So the claim that nobody from this space has addressed the question simply does not survive even a basic check of the record. The question is not whether you are entitled to disagree. Of course you are. The question is whether you have done enough homework before making sweeping assertions. So next time, perhaps research the subject thoroughly rather than relying on selective timelines, Delhi contacts or whatever political diktat happens to be circulating. If you want to challenge an argument, challenge the actual record. Do not manufacture a record to fit the argument.

has been doing this for a long time. Selective cherry-picking and outrage monologue while pontificating to everyone on how to "be an intellectual" etc. If his brain can't wrap itself around something, it's trash for him. Don't mind him. He has half-a-foot in Canada.

1. Remove Muslims and Christians from OBC categories. 2. Sub-categorisation of SC/ST. 3. When OBC candidates move out of the reserved category and enter open merit, revise the percentage proportionally, without touching SC/ST reservation. 4. If you avail the benefits of a caste certificate, kindly seek a seat under your respective category and do not come under open merit. 5. Reserved seats that remain vacant, including vacant OBC/SC/ST seats, should be opened to open merit. 6. One Family, One Reservation Benefit.

@neha_laldas If there is one thing worse than the OBC nonsense, it is letting Muslims into the list! If there are no castes in Islam, what the heck is a Muslim OBC?!

@neha_laldas It’s okay you can ignore him. He deals in strawmen so that you can not criticize BJP at the end of the day. A movement that would answer such bootlickers won’t be able to win so save your mental bandwidth

@neha_laldas He is bad faith element with no stake in game. He reside outside the country. He is riding current political spectrum & will jump the ship when he sees if it is sinking. For him growth of country is useless then growth of his online content. Remember his defence of umar khalid?
