Clarence Thomas may have been born in Georgia in poverty during segregation and grew up to become the second black justice on the Supreme Court but he can read the Constitution and see there's no right in it to kill unborn babies therefore he is an Uncle Tom.

I love how he admits he isn’t even well-read enough to know the origins of the ‘Uncle Tom’ attack. Justice Thomas is a more principled and honorable man than this senator than this senator could even hope to be.

This is how they kept us slaves for so long, make us fight against each others successes. The black community has another saying too, “black folks hold each other back like crabs in a barrel.”

He says “I really don’t know the origin of Uncle Tom” So what gives him the authority to bring it up and call Justice Thomas an “Uncle Tom”?

Truly is despicable and quite illuminating that racism and hatred against black conservatives is not just tolerated by the Left, it’s celebrated

Every Black Democrat chooses to be a “Stepin Fetchit”, yet they always have the nerve to call any Black person who doesn’t bow to rich white liberals, an “Uncle Tom” 🥴

@DLoesch It's too bad he doesn't know the true history of Uncle Tom and the real man the character was based on. If he did he certainly wouldn't use that name to characterize Justice Thomas as it is actually a great compliment.

@jtLOL Oh look! Actual systemic racism. We finally found a real example of it.

Uncle Tom, in Beecher's book, is a hero. I wish this senator actually knew where the phrase came from... The reimagining of who uncle Tom is as bad as watching song of the south and thinking it was based on reality.
