The incident occurred on Nov. 14 on the 215 Southern Beltway at Gibson Road, where two vehicles were engaged in an altercation that led to the deadly road rage shooting. Tyler Matthew Johns, 22, is accused of shooting and killing Brandon Dominguez-Chavarria, who was in the back of the car on being driven to school by his stepfather Valente Ayala when the incident happened. Witnesses said the incident occurred when a black Chevrolet Traverse driven by Ayala was blocked from merging into traffic by a blue Hyundai Elantra driven by Tyler Johns, documents said. Ayala passed Johns and merged several cars ahead. Johns faces multiple felony charges, including murder with the use of a deadly weapon, firing a gun into an occupied car, and firing a gun from the inside of a car, according to court documents.
