Tyler Matthew Johns, 22, is accused of shooting and killing Brandon Dominguez-Chavarria, who was in the back of the car on being driven to school by his stepfather Valente Ayala when the incident happened. Witnesses said the incident occurred when a black Chevrolet Traverse driven by Ayala was blocked from merging into traffic by a blue Hyundai Elantra driven by Tyler Johns, documents said. Ayala passed Johns and merged several cars ahead. Johns faces multiple felony charges, including murder with the use of a deadly weapon, firing a gun into an occupied car, and firing a gun from the inside of a car, according to court documents.
