Oh wow, takes me back to the days. Im slightly after atari but it was still around an kicking in a few kid’s house when i was growing up. I mostly remember playing River Raid.

I was raised on the NES but fell a little into these games a couple weeks ago. Nice piece of history here.

I bought Mario Bros on New Years when I was about 18. Played it all night. Amazing controls for an Atari 2600 game.

One of the beauties of this game was you could do 2 player simultaneous co-op... so many of the other multiplayer player games of the era was simply taking turns or... shooting at each other in Combat... Tho the PVP in 4 player Warlords was peak.

I played this game a lot of with my cousin in the 80s, it was one of the best Atari games.

This is not Super, it is only "Mario Bros" one of the games I played the most in the 80s 😅

That’s awesome! I’m loving this, bought mine last month and it resembles how easy gaming was back then. Easy pop cartridge in and power on, playing within seconds.

The Lazer ball should only show up as the time goes on, not at the beginning. You probably have it on the hard 'switch'

Back then I only had 1 game for the Atari, and that was Frogger. I played it maybe 2 times then that was it.

Game sucks single player but is great multiplayer
