I've had this happen to me. It's the fault of the 3rd party site. They sell rooms that aren't available. Then when you show up at 9:00 after driving all day, on race weekend, there's nothing available. Never use Expedia,Booking, etc around large events

100%, the guy in this video booked the King Suite either by accident or it was the last room available to sell, as king suites usually are, and he was confident he could switch the room type without checking with the hotel. This kind of entitlement is super common in hotels. People always assume that hotels have secret rooms that hotels are hiding from them. I’m getting ready to leave the industry after 30 years and 30 years of this is why. As a general manager I advise my staff to cancel the reservation when people pull this kind of stuff. They’re nothing but tr0uble.
