The plane had been abandoned since 1947 after an accident. In 1995, a team of aircraft technicians attempted to repair the plane and fly it out of the location, but a fire broke out while it was still on the ground and destroyed it.

Are you okay with someone eating a full-course meal on a plane… that they brought ON the plane… while sitting right next to you? 🍽️✈️ A man says it drives him crazy - smells, space, the whole setup. Imagine your loved ones boarding a Southwest flight, seated and ready for takeoff... when police pull the **pilot** off the plane and make him do field sobriety tests right there on the jet bridge. This actually happened. Bodycam video shows Southwest Captain David Allsop (52) failing multiple sobriety tests before a Savannah-to-Chicago flight. He blamed nicotine gum, admitted to "a few light beers" the night before, had bloodshot eyes, and struggled with the tests. Passengers were already on board. Would you have felt safe flying with him? How many close calls like this never get caught? Video attached — watch it and tell me your thoughts 👇

If you turn quickly enough in a plane, and hold altitude accurately, you can fly through your own wake. This tiny plane visibly shakes when it does this and you can hear the bump from the interaction. This is of course why you don't follow big planes too closely.
