At the Tema Valco Roundabout, the most severe damage is within a lane that leads commuters from the Tema Harbour to other parts of Tema and Accra. The stretch has deteriorated so badly that it is described by some drivers as “manholes.” Rather than ease traffic, some residents told The Fourth Estate that the route is accident prone. Drivers using the stretch are forced to slow down to protect their vehicles from damage. A narrow pavement along the road has turned into a contested turf between pedestrians and motorists avoiding the damaged road. AUTO LANE CHANGE ISSUES CONTINUE W/ FSD V14.2.1.25 Starting with FSD v14.2, there has been a significant regression in the system's confidence when performing automatic lane changes. If a vehicle is following in the adjacent lane at a safe distance and consistent speed, the ego car will often activate the turn signal and begin crossing the lane line before suddenly aborting the maneuver, pausing briefly, and then either proceeding with the lane change or abandoning it entirely. This behavior appeared in v14.2.1 and unfortunately persists in v14.2.1.25. While it is not a safety issue per se, it is definitely one that needs to be addressed, as it causes confusion and frustration for all surrounding drivers on the road when it occurs. NEW: A driver running a red signal appeared to have caused a crash yesterday at the newly revamped intersection of Army Navy Drive & S. Hayes Street in Pentagon City. And they did it right in front of an Arlington County police officer. While I’m not making an excuse for the driver of the white car in Video 1 for not obeying a traffic signal, there’s an intersection design that may cause confusion for drivers not paying close attention (of course, that's so many drivers). The driver who ran the light really didn’t have a red signal over their lane. The signal over their lane was green. It’s a green arrow meant for the far-right lane, yet hangs mostly over the right thru lane. In Video 2, I visited the intersection last night to see the changes up close. In the view from my driver’s seat, you can see how that right turn signal lines up with my car. I was in the same lane as the driver in the video. The right turn lane is to my right. Also, the signal is immediately to the right of the dotted line that guides drivers through the intersection. It would be a good idea to shift that signal further to the right and also move the signal meant for that lane to the right. As for the right turn lane, it’s now right turn only on a green arrow. It’s set this way to protect the not-yet-opened new bike lane on Army Navy from Joyce to 12th. The bike lane has its own special little traffic signals. Another key change, which will likely help prevent the kind of crash we’ve seen most often at this intersection, is on the exit ramp from I-395N. The left turn from that ramp is now only legal with the green arrow. This should prevent many of the conflicts with drivers on northbound Hayes. It also legitimizes what drivers were already doing, creating two left-turn lanes. If they fix the traffic signal alignment, there’s a good chance this will finally be a much safer intersection. Now, they need to straighten out Washington Boulevard and S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington County’s most dangerous merge. This truck driver was on the highway when the lane next to her was ending, she’s fed up with all of the irresponsible drivers that she knows is going to try to cut her off. Right on cue a woman and her son are driving on the shoulder of the road. St this point she’s not even in a lane anymore. The other driver still aggressively tries to cut her off to get into her lane, and ends up clipping the semi truck.the woman is irate and screams about how the truck driver hit her and how it’s the truck drivers fault. Having the whole thing on video is going to save her this time. But do you feel she intentionally caused the accident by not letting the other woman over, does she have an obligation to back off until the woman is in the lane?

The driver of a Honda Fit, with number plate AFM 1892, was using a long screwdriver to scratch cars on the oncoming side of the road. He was doing this to vehicles that had slightly moved into our lane. He scratched several cars as he drove past. If your car was damaged, please report it to the police. Zimbabwe Republic Police
