From Abule-Egba to Ikorodu, from Ogudu to every corner of our city, the light is spreading. By day, you see the men at work, building, fixing, connecting. By night, their efforts shine turning darkness into safety, silence into life. This is Operation Light Up Lagos, a promise in motion. We are lighting up roads, lighting up businesses, lighting up dreams. The work is still ongoing, and we won’t stop until every street, every community, and every Lagosian feels the glow. Justice should never feel out of reach for anyone who has experienced violence. Creating a Lagos where SGBV is not tolerated requires all of us to play our part, and at the heart of that commitment is a justice system that listens to survivors, treats them with dignity, takes every case seriously, and holds perpetrators accountable. Imagine spending less time in traffic and more time being productive. This is one of the benefits of the Lagos Red Line. For years, travelling from Agbado to the mainland meant sitting through long hours of traffic. Today, the Red Line is changing the daily commute, moving passengers from Agbado to Oyingbo in under an hour. With eight stations connecting key communities across the corridor, the rail line is giving thousands of Lagosians a faster, safer and more convenient way to move around the city every day. Beyond reducing travel time, the Red Line is easing congestion, improving connectivity and making public transportation more efficient for everyone. Every journey is another step towards a smarter, more connected Lagos. This is Lagos. Building the city we deserve. Babajide Sanwo-Olu Gbenga Omotoso Gboyega Akosile Bajulaiye Olanrewaju Barr. My name is Engineer Peter Obidike, a beneficiary of the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA). Recently, I transported goods valued at ₦10 million from Abuja to Lagos through a well-known transport company. During the offloading process, one of the items was accidentally dropped and damaged. The affected item was worth ₦2.5 million Upon discovering the damage, I promptly contacted the transport company to seek redress. However, all my efforts to get them to accept responsibility and resolve the issue were unsuccessful. Consequently, I reached out to LASCOPA for intervention. The Agency responded swiftly and handled the matter with professionalism and efficiency. I am pleased to state that I have now received a full refund for the damaged item. I sincerely appreciate LASCOPA for their prompt support and effective intervention. I also commend the Lagos State Government for establishing an agency that truly protects and stands up for consumers.
