Worth mentioning the awesome job the team & community has done on v4, docs, onboarding material, etc. I first found out about effect thru fp-ts in ~2023 or so and I feel like the docs were just type signatures in classic FP fashion.. Now they are some of the best I've seen.

Great thoughts thank you :) Would you say Go or Rust make even more sense than Effect for the backend? (if you follow what you're saying to it's conclusion) 1 of the main reasons for typescript on the backend was familiarity but if we're not going to write the code then why sacrifice the performance and scalability.
