Time and again, BJP leaders have used cheap, derogatory language against women in public, including Smt. Mamata Banerjee, the democratically elected Chief Minister of West Bengal. Today during a street corner meeting at Ekbalpore, Hussain Park, goons linked to TMC and Firhad Hakim abused BJP karyakartas and created disruption. When we protested, the Ekbalpore OC threatened to kill me and my karyakartas. Not only that, an open lathi-charge was carried out on me, my karyakartas, and even my daughter.
