The government of Mexico has been quietly dumping thousands and thousands of tons of their garbage on our side of the border. This comes after we've already caught them dumping millions and millions of gallons of their sewage into our beaches and our bays. A state legislator representing the border community down here in San Diego. And I just fired off a request to the US federal government for a federal investigation into the illegal dumping of this garbage on our side of the border. Minister Jal Shakti Jammu & Kashmir JAVED AHMED RANA Sahab, FC Jal Shakti Shaleen Kabra ji, other officers of Jal Jeevan Mission J&K (Jal Jeevan Mission, J&K) and Chief Engineer Jal Shakti PHE Kashmir (Jal Shakti PHE Kashmir) are respectfully invited for Iftaar at my residence but, like us all, they will have to drink the same muddy water which the Master Plan Division Srinagar is supplying us after the recent rainfall from Nallah Sukhnag. This scheme feeds a large chunk of the population in Budgam and Srinagar districts including the capital city of Srinagar. This muddy water is perhaps due to an issue with the water treatment plant Sholipora (Budgam) which needs proper desilting. This is how jaundice breaks out in certain areas in Kashmir. Let it be clear that the scheme has been successfully commissioned and it is operating impressively and this impurity issue is only the second time in the last 3 years.

Instead, we’re choking on pollution. On top of that, basic health care infrastructure is missing. Meanwhile, while Kejriwal’s been busy with his empty promises and politics, LG Delhi has actually stepped up and done more in the last 2 years than this government has done in the last decade!

NOT DELHI BUT HYDERABAD!!! While the country is losing its mind about cleanliness in Delhi under BJP government, here is a video of Hyderabad under Congress. This is a video shot by a normal Hyderabadi citizen who was vexed with mosquito menace that has plagued the city. He showed in the video how Saroornagar Lake has been turned into a dumping yard and a breeding site for mosquitoes. It isn’t just about garbage being dumped but also how the lake lacks any kind of maintenance. Every other lake in the city is filled with water hyacinth, silt is not being removed, no maintenance of STPs. Hydra which proclaims to be the protector of lakes by bulldozing poor people’s houses is in silent mode. GHMC that was recently divided into three, is still clueless. In this video, the citizen requests the Municipal Minister to do something. Municipal Minister = Revanth Reddy!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 PS: Do share how are the lakes in your area and how effectively garbage & lake maintenance is being handled.

Today marks another pivotal moment in our journey to transform waste management in Lagos. I had the honour of facilitating the signing of a landmark agreement between the Lagos State Government and ZoomLion Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group. This partnership is a bold step forward in our collective effort to overhaul how we manage the over 13,000 tonnes of waste generated daily in our state. For decades, the Olusosun dumpsite has stood as a symbol of the burden of uncontrolled urban waste. Through this new agreement, we are on the cusp of a major breakthrough. A state-of-the-art Transfer Loading Station will be constructed at Olusosun, serving as a central hub to redirect 2,500 tonnes of daily waste to a newly planned Material Recovery Facility in Ikorodu. This will allow us to permanently close Olusosun - a move that not only improves public health and safety but also significantly reduces the environmental impact of open dumping. In Igando, the Solous III dumpsite will also witness a major shift. With a new recovery facility planned for Badagry, we’ll be relocating 1,500 tonnes of waste daily; showing our commitment to decentralising and modernising waste handling in Lagos. What excites me most is the impact this will have beyond cleaner streets. Over 5,000 jobs, both direct and indirect will be created through this project. From waste processing technicians to logistics and facility maintenance staff, we are opening up a whole new ecosystem around waste recovery and circular economy opportunities. At the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, we’ve always believed that Lagos’ environmental future must be built on innovation, collaboration, and a firm resolve to act. Today marks another pivotal moment in our journey to transform waste management in Lagos. I had the honour of facilitating the signing of a landmark agreement between the Lagos State Government and ZoomLion Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group. This partnership is a bold step forward in our collective effort to overhaul how we manage the over 13,000 tonnes of waste generated daily in our state. For decades, the Olusosun dumpsite has stood as a symbol of the burden of uncontrolled urban waste. Through this new agreement, we are on the cusp of a major breakthrough. A state-of-the-art Transfer Loading Station will be constructed at Olusosun, serving as a central hub to redirect 2,500 tonnes of daily waste to a newly planned Material Recovery Facility in Ikorodu. This will allow us to permanently close Olusosun - a move that not only improves public health and safety but also significantly reduces the environmental impact of open dumping. In Igando, the Solous III dumpsite will also witness a major shift. With a new recovery facility planned for Badagry, we’ll be relocating 1,500 tonnes of waste daily; showing our commitment to decentralising and modernising waste handling in Lagos. What excites me most is the impact this will have beyond cleaner streets. Over 5,000 jobs, both direct and indirect will be created through this project. From waste processing technicians to logistics and facility maintenance staff, we are opening up a whole new ecosystem around waste recovery and circular economy opportunities. At the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, we’ve always believed that Lagos’ environmental future must be built on innovation, collaboration, and a firm resolve to act. Indian immigrant washes his dirty clothes with laundry soap in a fresh water river in Coquitlam, British Columbia. "We don't do that here, you’re poisoning the fish” screams the Canadian woman. Incompatible culture, no respect for nature, no respect for the native/ ethnic generational people or for their land. Our local Indians have been caught multiple times just dumping their trash into our waterways in Australia where I live. I have worked so hard to protect our native wildlife & I refuse to allow foreign people to destroy their natural habitat & our beautiful environment. So much of our wildlife has already been slaughtered & displaced due to mass immigration.
