This driver is trying to ma a left turn and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?

"This was filmed three weeks ago at Cedarwood Animal Rescue in Richmond, Virginia. The adult dog lying in the corner is Hazel. She's approximately three years old, a Beagle mix with a soft tricolor coat and quiet, gentle eyes. Hazel came to Cedarwood six weeks ago a stray pickup, clearly a nursing mother, brought in without her puppies. Staff searched the area where she'd been found for three days. Nothing. Hazel settled into the shelter the way a dog does when it doesn't have a choice. She ate. She accepted affection. But staff noted she was consistently subdued - not depressed in a clinical sense, just carrying something. She'd often lie with her nose pressed to the base of the kennel door. Shelter director Fran said: "We see it sometimes with mothers who come in separated. There's a quality to how they hold themselves that's different from other surrenders. Hazel was looking for something constantly." Two weeks after Hazel arrived, a family in the same neighborhood where she'd been found contacted Cedarwood. They'd discovered two small puppies in their garage clearly newborns, eyes still closed when found. The family had bottle-fed them for two weeks and brought them in once they were stable enough to be moved. The vet examined all three. The DNA profile and the puppies' age were consistent. These were Hazel's. Volunteer Theresa carried the puppies in a small transport crate into Hazel's kennel room on a Thursday morning. The footage shows Hazel lying in the corner, head down, the way she always rested. Theresa set the crate on the floor and opened the door. The two puppies - round and clumsy, about five weeks old tumbled out and wobbled toward the center of the room. Hazel's head came up. She was on her feet before the puppies had taken three steps. She crossed the kennel and pressed her nose to both of them, one then the other, then began licking them with the focused urgency of a mother accounting for every inch of her children. Her tail was going so fast it seemed to move her whole back end. The puppies pushed back into her. Hazel circled them, licking and pressing and circling again. Theresa stood at the kennel door and cried. Fran told us: "We've been doing this for eleven years. Reuniting a mother with her puppies after separation is one of the things that never gets routine. Hazel had been carrying that loss quietly for two weeks. The moment those puppies were on the ground, something in her just unlocked." All three were placed together in a foster home the following week. They'll be listed for adoption once the puppies are old enough - as a group, Fran said firmly. "They're not being separated again." Some things that go missing find their way back. And when they do, the relief is written all over a body that was never fully at rest without them

That is ALL about to change next week as an Atmospheric River delivers a near constant FEED of moisture into the West. ❄️ The heaviest Snow remains on track to fall in the Sierra Nevada, where 4 to 8 FEET or more could pile up early this week. 🏔️ Heavy Snow will also dump into the Rockies, including Colorado and Utah. Here, 1 Foot or more could fall over several days. 🌲 The Cascades will see PLENTY of Snow as well, with 1 to 2 FEET likely in the higher elevations. 🌧️ Lower elevations along the West Coast, including Seattle, could see a few Snow Flakes mix in, but little to no accumulation is expected. ✅This is FANTASTIC news for our mountain loving brotheren out West who have been DYING for Snow. It may seem an innocuous cabin in the woods but The Rascal and Diary of Abandonment have a lead that says differently. This week Rascal is teaming up with Laura! That adventurous woman of exploration and historical discovery (she is quite the creative as well!) Before they step into the unknown, and, as always seems to happen, lose service, Rascal wanted to make sure we got this week's field package sorted. As a daughter of the late Deputy Controller of Customs and proud Apapa man, Alhaji Ilyasu Yakubu Allahbura, Apapa has always been home to me. I grew up within this community and understand both its strength and its struggles. I am also the granddaughter of Yisa Brahimo Ottun, fondly known as YB Ottun (Allahu Lateef). The calls, messages and encouragement from the people of Apapa over the past few days have been overwhelming. I have heard you clearly. Maybe the people are finally tired of representatives they only see on campaign posters. I really don't have the energy for this, but it's been over a week since this curb ramp has been properly cleared. It's out front of a City of Edmonton fire hall. It's a diagonal curb ramp which is an awful design at the best of times because it's impossible for drivers to tell what direction you're headed and rolls you into a lane of traffic. But the snow always gets pushed to the bottom of the ramp. Whoever clears this doesn't seem to grasp that's where a wheelchair rolls. That's where a wheelchair gets stuck if you push the snow there. That leaves us with a trampled down section of deep packed snow at the square edge of the curb that I can kind of roll over to get on the road. Except on days where it's warmer, like today. If I try to go over that, my power wheelchair will sink and be stuck in a precarious position. It seems pointless to keep reporting this to the city. Every snowfall this happens and it takes filing a complaint and waiting a week to have it cleared. They closed the last 311 report 6 days ago and it's still not properly accessible. Obviously staff and service providers need to be trained or management needs to hold them accountable. This is exactly why municipalities need an independent accessibility watchdog. There's literally no excuse for the snow to be pushed to the bottom of the ramp or the plow to block it. Except apathy. So City of Edmonton, you claim accessibility is a priority. I've identified the barrier for you. Deal with it. AAC

My wife had to be away on official assignment for three weeks, she was worried because senior man is just barely four months old and we don't have anyone living with us and couple with the fact that our first daughter just had a surgery. Things have been tough and the economy is not smiling and so we are both working hard to keep the family going. She was worried and almost cancelled the trip, but I knew we needed the trip as the allowance from it could sort some important things so I told her to go I will take care of the children since senior man was not on exclusive breastfeeding. On the day of the trip I could see the tears in her eyes which she was struggling to hide but I assured her not to worry. She had to carry breast pump along so she can be pressing the milk out until she returns. It been almost two weeks already and I been the one taking care of the three girls and senior man and we are all fine. Truly I have been exhausted because I have to also managed them along side my official responsibility which can be quite demanding too. All I can is that it is good to marry and an understanding and supportive partner. This my baby have been with me through thick and thin and Omo she deserves every sacrifice that I can make. Being a present father has also been very helpful in moments like this. Jennifer Joanna Yusuf make una come tell me thank you

A very disturbing and alarming piece of news is coming from the English Bazar area of Malda! According to local sources, for the past few days, chaos and hooliganism had been occurring in Hindu-majority rural areas of Amriti Sekendarpur, allegedly carried out by the "Shanti Bahini" in protest of the Waqf Amendment Act. In the midst of this, Hindu youths were taking turns keeping night watch to prevent any large-scale attacks. However, last night, radical fundamentalist jihadists launched a brutal attack on these night watchmen. As a result, several were seriously injured. Moved to Dubai a month ago… Then two drones exploded next to our building, I was listed #3 on the UAE public prosecutor’s list for “publishing illegal content” (the video of the Fairmont on fire that got 1.7m views) resulting in my X account being banned across the country, followed by another week of hiding in the basement due to constant barrages of missiles and drones. Then a couple days ago after Marina 23 and the airport got hit I decided we’ve pushed our luck far enough. Made our way over the border into Oman the night before last and flew out this morning. Good luck to everyone in the GCC. But if you have the means to get out – I suggest you do so. Don’t FAFO.

This is the story the media seems to have buried and forgotten. Back in March 2026, a late-night trip to a Waffle House in Richardson, Texas turned into absolute chaos when gunfire erupted after an argument between two groups escalated into violence. According to police, multiple people in both groups pulled out guns and started firing. Seth Jackson was not there looking for trouble. He had just gotten off work late and stopped at the Waffle House to grab food with friends. When he saw several people attacking one of his friends, he ran toward the altercation to help.
