But “hate speech” has no clear legal definition, and the Supreme Court has made clear it is not an exception to the First Amendment. So what counts as “hate” will be decided by shifting cultural & political standards. And we already know how that plays out. I have personally been compared to a Nazi, called hateful, transphobic, and harmful, by sitting members of this Legislature, simply for expressing common-sense views and my religious beliefs. So is that hateful?

PSA; this new law is designed to silence criticism of free speech in colleges and K-12 schools across the United States It would change the definition of antisemitism to include that being against Israel and criticizing it is antisemitic If this was truly to protect American Jews they would use the JDA definition which protects free political speech. We must stand against this.

When hate speech cases were already being addressed under existing laws, the need for a separate Hate Speech Bill raises serious questions. The Indian Constitution and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita already provide safeguards while guaranteeing the Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression under Article 19(1)(a). The concern is not about protecting hatred, but about intent — is this law meant to protect a specific community, or to silence Hindutva voices? In a democracy, laws must restrain hate, not ideology or belief !

The driver of a London bus allegedly locked a Jewish passenger in for nearly an hour, withheld his bank card after it fell into the driver’s cab, and told him he resembled a “Mossad agent” and that he “doesn’t like Jewish people.” This incident will horrify decent people right across the country, who increasingly wonder what has happened to the UK we love. It is outrageous that anyone should be subjected to this kind of degrading treatment, let alone for being or simply just appearing to be Jewish. Allegedly trapping a passenger on a bus and subjecting him to antisemitic abuse is not merely disgraceful conduct; it is potentially criminal. We welcome urgent investigations by both TfL and the police. If the allegations are borne out, the driver would clearly need to be fired and TfL would need to issue an apology and offer compensation to the passenger. The driver has now been suspended pending investigation. Consequences must be delivered for any and all wrongdoing.

In Germany, it is illegal to give a Nazi Salute. This is what happens when you do it in front of Police officers. Germany knows how bad of a person Hitler was. They know how hate that is allowed to brew can brew so far that it leads to the killing of over 6 million human beings. This is why free speech should be protected but hate speech should closely regulated. Hate is a disease that can spread like a wild fire.

Please take the time to read this-A sitting member of Congress should never have been arrested for asking questions. Where are the people who believe in free speech? This is the second United States setting member of Congress that has been arrested. The United States looks more like a police state and under an authoritarian regime that demands his will all while Republicans in Congress allow it to happen because they decided to take an oath to the agenda and not to the constitution. The only people that are happy with this are people that see things through a single lens of information and only want whatever Trump is doing. It looks very much like they care more about that agenda than the actual United States, values, our citizens or our country and democracy that so many people died to protect. Why are Federal employees asked to take a loyalty pledge and why people not asking these questions?
